UPDATE: Hungry Howies made this right. The problem was really the door dash driver who refused to take accountability for anything. I won't use the delivery service as long as they're using door dash but I will do carryout.
Ordered a pizza at 7:44pm(it's now 9:12pm). Website said it it'd be here in 40 minutes. It's now almost been an hour and a half. I called after 1hr15min and it HADN'T EVEN LEFT THE STORE YET but the tracker said it'd been on the road for 20 mins . This kinda stuff happens all time since you guys are using door dash. I'm done ordering delivery from you guys. Plus I left a 20% tip when placed the order online.
After an additional 25 minutes, my pizza finally arrived. Barely warm, missing my 2 liter and a door dash driver with a bad attitude and a bunch of finger pointing at the restaurant. I was told by the driver "you must not be from Mobile" my response was "i've lived here my whole 44 years." HIS RESPONSE? "well then you should know we dont have good pizza places here" WHAT!? Who does that?
I called the store and let them know. I was given the door dash number to ask for a full refund. Here's the problem. I ordered through the HH website and NOT door dash so doordash told me I needed to call the store back to get the refund and doordash would refund the store back. So I did. I was told by a very polite employee that they could not process refunds tonight that I would need to call back tomorrow between 11am and 3pm. So I guess I have 1 more phone call to make....
Read moreMy husband and I have been here in Mobile for 3 months. Each time we order from this location the food comes out incredibly fresh and the staff is ALWAYS kind and friendly and patient. Whether we order pickup or order delivery we are always extremely satisfied. We have tried other places. But of the 4 other places we have tried to order pizza from, my husband and I haven't had good experiences with any of them and we havent even gotten to taste the food because the customer service is so horribly rude and just really nasty behaving. Pizza Hut specifically has such horrible customer service that they have permanently lost our business. It seems customer service is not a big priority here as we have gone out to eat at many different places and have only been custer satisfied at 3 restaurants here in Moble. So when we run into staff like the associates who work here, we are so grateful because not only is their product fresh and tasty, but the experience is welcoming and easy and friendly, from the telephone orders to management. So when we crave pizza we turn to this specific store and are always very satisfied with our experience and always satisfied with the quality of our food. Thank you Hungry Howies team at this...
Read moreMy stuffed bread was not done at all in the middle. I ordered two, and neither was fully cooked. I called and spoke with a manager, which told me she would put two credits under my number and she apologized. Well, when I went to redeem my two credits along with another order I made I was told there were no credits under my number and that she could only give me one. I was upset but said okay. I asked could they make sure it was cooked all the way thru this time. She said she would make a note of it. When the pizza man delivered the food I wasn't home yet and my daughter got the food. She called me and said that the food was cold and that the stuffed cheesy bread was still very undercooked. I don't know what they will say as this has just happened tonight but I plan to take the whole thing back tomorrow and demand my money back. I paid 6.99 + for each of them and have not received either in an edible state. To make matters worst this isn't the first time they gave me credits then when I went to redeem them they said they didn't see them. The manager on duty was nice tho and said he didn't see why I would lie about something like that and also make other purchases. After this time tho, I am done!! Unlike the doughy stuffed...
