Bubbles and Brunch — Restaurant in Mobile

I wanted to love this place, but its quite the opposite😅

I came with a party of 8, arrived at 12:00 on Sunday & was told it would only be about 20-25 minutes until we were seated. No biggie, we expected that. What we didn't expect was then waiting another 35 minutes on top of the already waited 25 minutes, & that was just to be seated. The excuse for our wait was "there were a lot of call in orders", however the tables had been open the entire time we had been waiting. Once we sat down, we all ordered our drinks. 5 mins or so later, most of us received our beverages, but 2 were missing & we never received them, so we asked for that to be taken off the bill. Upon waiting another 45ish minutes for our food to even be brought to the table, we were still missing 3 side orders, along with the chicken we received being raw on the inside. They offered to remake it, but we just requested it be removed from the bill, we didn't have time to wait another 30 mins for something else after being there already for close to 2 hrs.

What I was disappointed in was the lack of accountability from the management. The manager was the one to hand us the check, which still had everything on it that we hadn't received btw, & had not uttered a single apology or acknowledment of any of the issues we had. One of the servers was quick to say "I'm sorry about that" when the food was raw, but nothing else was said. This staff seems unorganized and there's a major lack of communication. The manager had an "oh well" attitude, and seemed as though she had other things to worry about than making her customers happy. This was my first experience ever being there & I will probably not be back. I was visiting the area, but my friends live & patronize Mobile restaurants frequently & they have also vowed to not go back. Went with a fairly large church group (11 ladies), however, the staff knew we were coming. We had to wait quite a long time for a table that they had ready for us but never actually sat us until someone from our group asked if we could seat ourselves.

Our everyone received there drinks except myself and someone else who waited an additional 10 min. for our chocolate milks.

They brought up the wrong appetizers and once the correct ones were delivered, we received no silverware for it.

Once most of the food was delivered we still weren't given any silverware until someone from our party got some for everyone, everyone had finished eating before my chicken and waffles were delivered. It came WITHOUT the habanera jam which was my whole reason for ordering it. They also didn't give me syrup. My whole party complained on my behalf and said my meal should have been free after I had to wait so long for it. They gave me $5 off. I will not be back. The food was over priced and there are better brunch spots in Mobile anyway. I had high hopes for this place, but it is mediocre at its best! The workers look unprofessional I have know clue what look they was going for with the uniforms. My waitress had on a company t shirt and a tennis skirt! It’s wasn’t busy at all when we arrived (it was one couple sitting eating) and yet we was escorted to a dirty table that the hostess wiped down while we stood there, leaving a super wet table behind. My husband had to ask for napkins to cleaned the table off. Our waitress came over and constantly rushed us to order. I asked at least twice to give us a few minutes before she returned a 3rd time and I just ordered our drinks while went over the menu in peace! The mimosas was awful I was not pleased the food it’s self was blah…bacon seem to have been cooked ahead of time and reheated! The waffle was the only saving grace! The kitchen staff kept looking out the serving window as we ate very uncomfortable. Not to mention their hygiene looked questionable considering they was preparing food.
