Bob's Giant Burgers — Restaurant in Modesto

Worse place to eat here. They didn't care about us. Bad face. We asked for Napkins and very disrespectful just a bad look. Didn't disearve a tip. I gaved $10 as a tip. I would definitely want it back if I can. Doesnt deserve it. Here name was Giselle. So very rude. No good look. No hows the food but to the other people in back where we were sitting my family and me. She would go and tell them everything okay but us nope. Just a bad face as well as the other women. Great Burgers Great Value!! Since the new owner took over 3 months ago, I have eaten here half a dozen times. If your looking for a comparison, I would say Zin and Out but on STEROIDS!! Sooooo much better !!! This place is CLEAN. The owner and staff are so friendly and they care about your experience. They spot check you to make sure you are happy with your meal or if you need anything else. These burgers are FRESH, they are very CRISP, addictive and FLAVOR-ABLE. I hear that their milkshakes are off the hook, but I still have 10lbs to go. A better experience than Fast-Food and their prices are cheaper.

After two days with a head cold mom reached out and asked for an 8:45pm burger. Two cheeseburgers, a side of fries and a chocolate and strawberry shake just prior to closing time and I was Turlock bound. Both of my folks who graduated in the 50's said that is one of the best burgers they have had in a long time. They added that it was like burgers they use to get down on G st back in high school. This place is falling apart. Only two "early twenties" gentlemen working, neither with any customer service skills. Took our order easily enough, and read it back correctly (a grilled cheese sandwich, fries, and a bacon cheeseburger). Counter was dirty, and there was a half-dead mosquito-eater on the table. When they brought our order, the grilled cheese "sandwich" was just a sesame seed hamburger bun, turned inside out with 2 slices of cheddar cheese melted in between. It was also SOGGY with salted butter. The bacon cheeseburger was undercooked slightly (better than over-cooked), but THERE WAS NO BACON. I didn't want to "bother" the boys while I was eating, since they had other customers at the register, but when I finished and brought up the fact that there was no bacon on my burger, I got attitude from the One employee, and had to wait 15 minutes for him to refund me the difference in price between the burger with and without bacon.
