In-N-Out Burger — Restaurant in Modesto

Really bad experience here for the 3rd time in a row. This locations line is horrendous in terms of how they “manage” their line. I came in today on 8/14/24 and came through the drive through. As I arrived to wait in my place in line, I convincingly chose the shorter line assuming the staff would notice my place as the line was not long at all this time around. As a person in front of me 3 cars down took a bit longer to place their order a car to my left comes in 10 minutes later than me only to clear his way next to me and have a staff member take their order first. I had waited 10 minutes for nothing.. only three cars away from two of their staff members taking orders not to notice that I came 10 minutes earlier than the car next to me. I let the staff member who distributes the ticket orders know about the issue for future reference and he simply shrugged it off and said he would talk to his manager about it. This is literally the third time this happens here even with a staff of 4-6 they still miss on managing the line and don’t track who arrives first. 2 out of those three time the line was not long at all. I let the staff member know that this was the third time this happens and places like Chick Fillet who have the same staff in terms of numbers and a split line do a great job of tracking who arrives first to take the orders accordingly. I came home after I picked up my order only for them to send me a poorly stacked, sloppy looking and overly cooked Flying Dutchman. I ordered it onion wrapped with peppers. The burger was not onion “wrapped”, had no bottom onions and no peppers like I ordered. I will not comeback here. It sucks because this In N Out is literally around the corner from my house but I would rather drive 10-15 minutes to the other location because for the third time this one...

I just want to say how thankful I am that In-N-Out opened near my house! Not only is the food always delicious and fresh, but it’s also affordable something that means a lot these days. I was able to feed my entire family of 7 for just $50, which is a huge blessing.

But what really makes this location special to me is that In-N-Out is a Christian-owned company. It’s rare to see businesses that aren’t afraid to stand by their faith, and I truly respect that. You can feel the positivity and kindness from the moment you walk in. Great service, amazing food, and a foundation built on faith what more can you ask for!

Every time I’ve gone through this drive thru, the person taking my order verbally confirms it correctly. I get to the window to pay, the order is incorrect. I correct it, they put in a new ticket, then at the pickup window I receive the wrong food. I tell them the burger is wrong, and each time they’ve told me they received my updated ticket because I “changed” my order. That passive aggressiveness is frustrating. I have had the same order for five years, the only change is maybe I do regular fries instead of animal style. I live very close to this in n out, but at this point t I’d rather drive across town to one of the other locations. If I order something and its input wrong, don’t tell me my order will take time because I “decided to...
