I was very disappointed with my experience here. I write this as a small business owner who almost never writes negative reviews knowing their consequence, but I felt the need to share this. Upon arriving. The staff was very nice and took our order. The service was slow but it was not their fault. It was very busy. We ordered some drinks which were fine but when we received our order of beer battered onion rinks things started to go south. The batter was unbelievably thick six or seven times thicker than the onion itself. So it was like eating a half cooked donut with onion. And the ranch they provided was the most over-seasoned and salty ranch I have ever had in my life. And I'm a ranch lover. Then the main dishes came out. I got the bacon cheeseburger and my wife got the New York steak sandwich. The cheeseburger looked deceptively juicy but in reality was extremely dry and dense like a meatloaf. My wife's New York steak sandwich was a very gristly thing that was extremely rich with no vinegar or tanginess to cut the richness. Overall, the food was absolutely abysmal to a point where my wife voluntarily chose to throw up at home because she didn't feel good after eating it. We both felt like there was a brick left in our stomach afterwards. I write this review in the hopes that they will improve on the quality...
Read moreHorrible experience. Went last night around 8 to have drinks for a friend's birthday. Walking in there was a guy at the bar feeding his parrot oranges. The middle table did have a larger group of maybe 6 or 8 people but no one else was in there but us. The waitress took our order of what was supposed to be 1 minority sour, a beer, and 2 shots. After what seemed like 20 minutes she brought us the minority sour, the beer, and 1 double shot. When my husband explained he asked for 2 shots not 1 she looked confused he asked her to bring an additional shot. The four of us sat waiting for the other shot to arrive. All the while that middle table was served multiple times. After waiting another 20 minutes and no second shot arriving we gave up and went to cash out. Yes we waited for nothing because the waitress never even went to put in the order for the other shot. Our friend was saying he didn't understand what the problem was because she had checked in with him every few minutes before we got there. In the 10 minutes they had waited for us to arrive they had been served 2 separate times. But all of a sudden a mixed couple arrives and service stops. Let's just say it seems a bit racist to me. Definitely not going back. We left and went across the street to George's for the rest of the night and had a way...
Read moreDropped in on a Saturday afternoon after a work event and we’re thirsty and hungry. We sat ourselves and a server shortly came over. We were given menus with food options but didn’t see a drink list , so we had to ask our server for selections. Given a slight beer list we made a couple basic choices. The food menu is very extensive lots of different options. After trying to narrow it down we decided on starting with some bar food staples to test the waters since it was our first visit. I ordered a burger and fries my wife ordered pulled pork sliders. The burger was actually damn good you could tell the patties were house made and rich in beef flavor 2 huge strips of bacon added a Smokey finish, veg and bun were both fresh. The server sold us on Garlic fries my wife loves garlic fries so I agreed. The garlic were ok but nothing special, I will definitely stick to regular fries on our next trip. The pulled pork sliders were pretty legit, tender pork in a Smokey slightly sweet sauce and a standard coleslaw to round it out . The wife approved. Atmosphere was very chill it’s not huge but not too small decent amount of seating with a small patio area. Service was pretty solid. Beer list could be better and larger mug options would be great. But overall we enjoyed our experience and would love to try some...
