I been coming here for years, but I stopped coming once covid hit. I decided to come today and I'm disappointed. I ordered the usual beef stew, and they brought out a rare beef soup smh. They fixed my order, but I noticed that my plate is definitely a lot smaller than before, yet the price from $8 pre-covid has now gone up to $12.99. I go to many of these restaurants, and i noticed they are using the size small plate for a medium and the size medium for a large, I was even able to finish it when I usually take half home. If you're trying to get your moneys worth, it is not here. At least not anymore. Will not be returning after today. I paid the same price here $29 for two large (medium plate) soups than I do on a family meal that feeds my family of 6 at Panda Express. With price hype, I expected the place to be renovated to a much cleaner look to make you feel at least like the place is worth it, but it's the same hole in the wall. I wish the place good luck for the future. Last thing I will mention is that I gave a cash tip and I noticed it was pocketed by an older lady that charged me and was not my server....

This place used to be good and everything correct. Now it's just going downhill fast. It's been close to 2 years for the decline. Incorrect order taking and overcharging items that they miss to give to you and it's worse if you have a credit or debit card which is an extra 50 cent charge per transaction. I know its a $1 but that dollar could have gone toward something else like helping to fill up a 5 gallon water jug. And I have to pay for their mistake. I would understand if they were busy and understaffed but they had 3 tables and 5 waitresse which makes things worse. Last time we dined in, we found a couple of dead mosquitoes in one of the soups we ordered and they still charged us for it. My word of advice is if you plan on coming here please REPEAT what you want to them as many times as needed and when you do get your order DON'T LEAVE and DOUBLE CHECK to make sure you have everything you ordered. I was driving back from Yosemite with my bf and we were looking for a good Viet place on the way back. Wasn’t expecting much from this place since it was the first thing I found on Google Maps and located in a somewhat sketch strip mall close to the highway.

Let me say, I am Vietnamese and have eaten at very many pho restaurants in my life and I was VERY impressed with the #1 Pho. I ordered a small but it came LOADED with all the traditional pho meats (brisket, tripe, meatball, tendon, etc). I almost couldn’t finish all of it. The broth was also very tasty and flavorful - this place has legit pho, gonna give the #1 an A+. My bf ordered the spring rolls and the pork chop rice plate, and both were also very tasty. I recommend too the coconut drink (with coconut meat).
