Look normally I love coming to this one. I would brag and tell people to come to this location. Last few weeks though lack luster and my drinks don’t come out like they used to. This morning ordered a Passion Tango Tea Lemonade with 3 pumps of liquid Kane. Ended up getting water with the passion tango tea flavoring. No lemonade. No liquid Kane. There’s been a bit of lag in customer service (used to be my favorite part of this place) and the quality of the drinks. I hope things get better but I can’t come back for a while if this is what I keep getting for weeks now.
Update: I went back this morning 11/21/23. I wanted to try to again thought maybe I should give it another chance. Boy was I wrong! Ordered and wasn’t even given a total. The person just said “I’ll see you up here.” I was confused. The line wasn’t moving for a moment, understandable, but the employee came back on the intercom and asked if I needed anything else a bit rudely then gave me my total. I went up. Paid. Got two of my items, I had three. When the employee who gave me my order was trying to hand me a different order thinking I was another customer. That second employee said to me “did you forget something?” I let her know I didn’t get my third item. She rushed it out to me and I felt like I was being rushed to leave because they forgot to give me my third item. My food item was cold, like it wasn’t baked all the way. Disappointed. Used to be my favorite Starbucks location. Never again....
Read moreAt this point I don’t even feel like buying drinks from Starbucks brand anymore- I have visited nearly every Starbucks from Modesto-Salida-Ripon and this one takes the cake for rudest service. I work at McDonald’s so I understand when it comes to drive thru times, wait times etc but when I came through the drive thru for a mobile I placed about 2 minutes beforehand, the lady told me at the window that I would have to go all the way back around just because they haven’t begun preparing the two drinks (mind you there was 1 car ahead of me) The lady had a little attitude, but I didn’t think much of it anyways. Came back around through the drive thru 1 MINUTE later and said that we had the mobile order from a minute ago and she said that (“ok it’s ready now) like wtf? I could have waited the minute before that to begin preparing it but you made me go around? “It’s our store’s policy” well every other Starbucks I go to in Modesto DOES NOT tell me to go back around then simply say “ok we’ll have it for you at the window” Also, the drinks didn’t look good anyways : D Oh and by the way, according to my research, this Starbucks has the worst...
Read moreThere is a serious problem here since November 2022. I received a hot coffee, venti. The lid immediately popped off and coffee spilled all over my hand. It was not the female clerks fault. I showed her the rim of the cup. They poured it into a second cup. They gave me a card for a free coffee. This has now happened 3 times. It's not causing as serious of a problem spilling on my hand, because I now expect it. Proceed with super caution. They ignore consumer concerns. It's just like eliminating Sweet 'n Low, anything to save a buck. They bought cups from a cheaper source "somewhere". The food quality and flavor to cost ratio is way off.
