My recent visit to Wienerschnitzel on North McHenry, proximate to Guitar Center, is subject to a 4-star rating based on empirical observations. The service quality exhibited a high degree of professionalism, marked by attentive staff interactions.
The French fries, though exhibiting a slightly elevated grease content, maintained a desirable thermal profile. The provision of an ample quantity of mustard and ketchup packets by the employee is noteworthy, as it addresses a common shortfall observed in analogous establishments.
The pivotal aspect of my visit was the corn dog, serving as the principal motivation for patronage. Its textural attributes, characterized by optimal crispiness and temperature, contribute to its culinary merit. Concurrently, the chili dogs displayed consistent quality and reliability.
In tandem with my repast, I opted for a Dr. Pepper, and an analysis of its syrup concentration revealed a judicious equilibrium, avoiding extremes of lightness or heaviness.
Wienerschnitzel on North McHenry emerges as a preferred choice over alternative venues. The commendable culinary attributes, particularly exemplified in the expertly prepared corn dog, render it a notable establishment for enthusiasts seeking a refined hot...
Read moreBuyer beware. All Der Wienerschnitzels have a link posted on the bottom of the receipt to participate in a survey and receive a free product with ANY purchase. My husband frequents these establishments quite often. I participated in the survey and received a code for a free corn dog. When he returned to the restaurant, the server stated that in order to receive that, he had to purchase something at full price, not the combo meal deal that he was requesting. According to the server, the combo meal deals are already discounted, and they don't consider that full price. I complained to the corporation. The response they gave me is that these franchises are operated independently, and each one can decide whether or not to participate in these offers. I told them that that's all well and good, but it should state that on the receipt; otherwise, it's false advertising. My husband left and went to Jack in the Box instead...it's the principle, especially since he's been a frequent flyer there for years. A better business person would have honored it while explaining their policy, then done something to change their receipts. As it is, they have lost a customer. ...
