Marshalls — Local services in Modesto

If I could I would give it zero 0 Stars, March 13,2025 today I decided to go to Marshalls worst of all experience the store on McHenry avenue . Modesto,CA. you cannot walk down the aisle if your ADA in a electric wheelchair , everything is too cramped together I actually got stuck several times I had to back out I knocked several things over I did not give a flying damn" ,. Am I upset yes! You ask the associates or workers whatever you want to call them for assistance they ignore you! They are too busy chatting away! I try to look at the cosmetic area you can't the isles are too crammed together, you can't look at the clothing aisle, why they're all stacked one right after the other literally I cannot even go down one, then I try to get in the middle of the store forget that the only thing I can do is go in the entrance of the store and get out of the store I actually had to wait right there by the little blue baskets had to call my spouse wait for her for an hour by The doors then somebody asked me if I needed help if I wanted a basket I said no why would I need one if I'm in a wheelchair that was waiting for my spouse cuz I can't go down your crap stupid aisles well I'm holding everything in my hands! If you would like to know the only aisles I can go down is the back aisle which is wide enough for the store and they blocked it too which I had to move it they put some cart in the middle of the aisle it's ridiculous! Seriously the only thing I bought at this Marshall stores were 8 reusable bags for $0.99 each( by the checkout register)two reusable bags were on clearance(hanging out by and aisle because I couldn't get down the aisles @Marshalls). I don't think I will be shopping anymore at Marshalls after today seriously it's not handicap...

I'm only giving it a 1 star, because today during my shopping experience, I encountered a rude Assistant Manager name Lewel I believe it is. Female short hair, the name starts with an L. As I was walking In the store, I noticed glass broken in their shopping center. I witnessed a kid almost stepping in it. I was terrified for the kids life. I walked in asked for a broom and offered to sweep it myself voluntarily. She was so disgustingly RUDE. She said this is not our job. I said we'll, you rather have elderly and kids walk in it and bleed? She gave me this dirty look. I was disgusted in this humane God lord. I will call the office to talk to store manager tomorrow. Anyways, I was standing there and I said I'll sweep if you're bothered, she's like it's done ok you can leave rolling her eyes. Like wth woman, have some manners and a kind heart in this world. It sickened me people like her have a job and good people ou there homeless jobless. But the staff at cashier who ringed me up was so sweet. I can't say all are bad right? Gotta be legit and fair. But I WILL SAY this, assistant manager short lady short hair, you should be ashamed of your attitude and your way of thinking. Your kid could be the one walking into broken glass one day. Remember!!!!!! If you can't have a good service, quit. I will make sure you're talked to, because I'll have everyone stop shopping there due to your personality and...

Was happy to show up an hour and a half before they closed to get some Christmas shopping in. Everything was going great until they said 15 minutes to close at 10:30 (they close at 11 but do this to get out early). While I was finishing up my shopping a girl took my cart and started putting everything away. I turned around with my arms full carrying the last of the items to put in my cart and realized she took off with it. All that time wasted, she did offer to help me find all the items, but they were also trying to rush me out (still 30 minutes away from closing but okay). I couldn’t remember what was missing or if I was grabbing the right things again . It took me an hour and a half to calculate how much it all cost to make sure I was being equal for all the kids and making sure I don’t forget any of the nephews or nieces. I ended up just saying it’s fine and walked out without purchasing anything. Made me super depressed to waste all that time. So irritated by the whole situation I’m just going to shop...
