Stoney Point Grill is my favorite destination place, before attending a concert at Tinley Park,IL.with a friend or solo trip for when I am in the area. I emailed ahead of time ,asking about covid policies and Amanda answered all of my questions. She suggested that I reserve a table so that all would go smoothly for us to eat & then head out to our concert on time. She and her entire staff are always so helpful, friendly and accommodating ,anytime that I have eaten there. The food is amazing! My favorite appetizer is the deep fried pickles.as they are to die for! My friend and I love the burgers that are fixed the way you want them. Regular fries are very good but I love the Sweet potato fries drizzled with a little honey on top! Amanda personally stopped by our table and introduced herself and wanted to make sure that we would enjoy our food. She also wanted to help get us out on time to leave for the concert. Just before we left she came back a second time, to see that everything was okay.That is a very rare occurrence for a manager to come back again to check on us. Dan, has his own shuttle service so he was very impressed and pleased.He is also amazed with Stoney Point's cordial & "aim to please "atmosphere . I definitely have made it my favorite go to place for comfort food & relaxation, over an hour away from home.. They also accommodate sports fans as there several TVs located around the bar area for every kind of sports imaginable to satisfy their regular...

We stopped in around 430 pm on a Sunday for a bite. The restaurant was crowded, but we were able to find two seats at the bar right in front of a large flat-screen with KC vs Buffalo rematch. Within 5 minutes our drink and dinner order was taken. 3 minutes later we had our Bloody Marys in front of us. They were the perfect blend of spicy, vodka, tomato juice, and worsteshire. Next came out our salad and shrimp appetizer from the daily specials menu. Next we shared the Ribeye steak dinner, which was cooked perfectly to our medium rare request. It was juicy and flavorful, with just the right amount of char. The dinner came with cheesy mashed potatoes and green beans. Both were delicious. We walked out fat and happy Within 1 hour of arriving! Great service, speedy kitchen, delicious food, and a chill yet energetic atmosphere. We were both very pleased with EVERYTHING. We went in with a party of 9. We were not told ahead of time that a 20% gratuity and a 3% credit card charge would be added to our bill since we had a group of 8 or more. While the food was ok/average bar food, the service was slow and not all that attentive even though it wasn't that busy. Additionally, They taxed the gratuity. I have never heard of taxing a tip and pushing that cost onto the consumer, but that is what happened.

They also up charged for literally everything. $1 for pickles $1.50 for slice cheese on your burger. All in all when we were ordering $15 dollar burgers and a couple apps to share for 9 people, the total cost became 35$ per person. after the 23% gratuity and credit card charges and then that amount was taxed.
