I was hired by Jay to refinish the hardwood floor in the bar in there new venture here in Moline Illinois. The old VIP Bar down town moline.Jay seen my work and contacted me about this new color that I have been mixing and have been having great responses on it. I've been in business for 25 years and I am trustworthy and have never had a problem with the customer or a customer with me. Until I met Jay and his project manager/ accomplice. Mr Steve. Steve says that the floor didn't look great and he did not like it. The floor was flawless I put many hours in on the floor to make sure that it was perfect for them the color was perfect the finish was perfect. And I was not paid for my hard work. Jay plays dumb and says Steve makes the calls on thing because Jay is 22 and doesn't have any knowledge of remodeling. But I saw the smile on his face when he seen it. And then Steve changed the tone I realized I was getting scammed. Mr Jay has eyeballs and seen it for himself that floor was perfect the videos that I put on my Facebook had great response. I was ecstatic about the outcome of the floor. And I don't get too excited about some of the floors I do but this one was pretty spot on. I say that because these floors are hard to stain and they're just hard to bring back to life sometimes because of the wear and tear on them. Trust me I go all out to get it right and sometimes it's not going to be perfect but this one was close to being perfect. I believe they're both involved in the situation to scam to get what they want when Jay seen the floor for the first time he had a smile from ear to ear. It was exactly what he has wanting. But his accomplice was quick to criticize and then once he criticized in the same breath he said he never had redone hardwood floors before. I believe these two are in business together to rip off and get as much done as they need as cheap as they can get it done. The so called project manager Steve, well let me put it this way the first time I met him he had a friend of his working with him that was hanging around me the first day I was there telling me about how much he steals Milwaukee tools. And then told me in the same breath that he would never steal from me. That was the first red flag. The second red flag was when he told me that the painting that was done there was done by a friend of his and they were trying to find flaws anywhere they could to get out of that paint job payment. Beware quad cities. They owe me the last final payment, they had a plan and it worked to their perfection. It's not a good way to start off here in the quad cities by taking 25-year business guy that has done many homes and business here and has had no bad reviews. So beware tradesmen. Do not do business with these people. They are deceitful and are very bad people. They have an agenda and don't let you be part of it. I'll post a couple pictures of before and after so you can see how great the floors turned out. Shame on them.

We went fully aware of the discord about this place in the local food groups. We went in open-minded and we were blown away at how great the food was. Our waitress immediately sold us on the specialty lemonades. I ordered the honey mango with Tito’s and he ordered the strawberry. I could drink the honey mango by the pitcher. She recommended the honey biscuits and they were so fresh when they came out, drenched in honey. He ordered 6 tenders and I got 8 wings. We ordered all the sauces in the side so we could try them all. For the wings, I highly recommend blending the mild and hot for great flavor with the ideal mix of flavor and heat. However, the honey mustard is slightly smoky and fantastic as well. The breading is excellent. Great flavor, not greasy, nice crunch without being too thick. Chicken was juicy and hot. Service was phenomenal. The waitress and the owner checked in frequently. I would highly recommend to anyone. Just remember to be patient because chicken that perfect and that fresh takes a little bit of time.

They said they were still in a soft opening, so they get a little leeway. We didn't get a menu because of the "soft" opening. We were given the choice of 3 items, and we chose a chicken sandwich and 6 piece chicken wings. I chose the lemon pepper seasoning on my wings. I asked what came with the wings, the waitress said fries and a piece of bread, no other options. She asked if we wanted hot or mild sauce, I chose mild, and my friend chose hot. We had decided to get mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. We got the mozzarella sticks after about ten minutes, I don't recall any option for marinara sauce, but they came with ranch and were tasty. Then we waited and waited. We had been there for 55 minutes when the waitress came out and told us there was a problem with the chicken sandwich. I was so thankful for the appetizer by this point because I was really hungry and finished the mozzarella sticks a half an hour prior. My friend said just give me some wings then because we had plans and needed to go. There were only about 15 people in the place so we didn't understand why it was taking so long. When the food finally arrived about 15 minutes later, I have to say it was excellent chicken wings with the lemon pepper on it. It was very moist inside and super crunchy outside. The mild sauce tasted like ketchup with a little spice. My friend said the hot tasted like a blend of ketchup, too. The wings were huge. A six piece was a bit much for me. The fries were just steak fries. They tasted good. The bread was just a piece of white bread under the chicken to soak up the grease. I don't know if it was because of the "soft" opening or not, but they didn't offer silverware, which is fine since everything is finger foods, but in my opinion, if you are going to serve finger foods without silverware you should have napkins that are a better quality than tissue paper since the food is greasy. It cost 50 dollars for mozzarella sticks and two meals with one iced tea, that was kind of a sticker shock since we weren't able to see a menu to know what the prices were. Had we seen the prices we would have known ahead of time what we were...

I was legit excited to support a new business especially one ran by a brother, but this ain't it chief. Short summary they are scamming on the low and it's disgusting. I understand it's a new open business, but the wait time is insane. On top of that once you get in it's loud as hell in there. You can barely here the people you are next to speak. The waiter seemed incompetent and had to get help with just about everything he was doing. No offer of water after waiting in the heat and we had to ask for water. Then the waiter told us they had to re drop all the fryers so they couldn't take food orders! Then the owner came over and told him that they were able to take orders from anyone who was inside just not those waiting outside. So we decided to stay and this is where the scamming scheme began. They were only serving 4 or 6 wing orders and the waiters whole scheme is to get you to add things, but not tell you they are upcharges so lemon pepper is an extra 1.50 as I saw from another persons post. They also add an automatic 18% gratuity even though on their own receipt it says that's only for groups of 5 or more. They waiter only told us this after we had been waiting for about 10-15 mins for some drinks. Which is another scam they are charging at will or something because our bill for just 4 (a mix and a shot each) drinks came out to almost 40 dollars! This is after the waiter made it seem like the shots would be compted for the ridiculous wait time. Which speaking of we did not even get to get the food which is the main reason we went. 2 and a half hours later and we were still the 7th in line to get food. So we and the people we were with (just 2 others making 4) decided to leave and this is where their scheming scamming bs was exposed. Do not go here. It is not worth it and they aren't on...
