During a recent set of errands that took me to this part of Moline, I needed a moment to sit down to do some work on my laptop, as well as get a quick snack. This McDonald's was close by, so I opted to come here to get the small amount of needed work completed. Stepping into this particular McDonald's was kind of like stepping back in time 10-15 years. This location has a Play Place, albeit one that was closed at the time (why I'm not sure - Covid, perhaps?). The wall art looked dated to about that period, as did the floors. I seriously remember these particular floor tiles - about six inches square, two strips apiece, each square set perpendicular to the set next to it. They also seem to be perpetually greasy or a little dirty, regardless of how soon they were cleaned. Kinda neat seeing this again, honestly. The one part of the interior that appeared modern was the counter and kitchen. Newish flat screen displays were present in the overhead, as well as fairly modern credit card pay stations. I ordered and received an ice cream cone and small fries with no issues at the expected time that most McDonald's makes and serves food (the ice cream machine was working at this time - guess that's a good thing, right?). I sat down to my work in a booth close to the bathrooms. The booths and tables around me were relatively clean. The general appearance of this part of the McDonald's also aligned with the earlier observation of the establishment being a little aged - the booths and chairs were that particular mix of dark burgundy/brown leather/pleather booths and chairs with either black metal chairs or while hard plastic fixtures. It was of the expected comfort for seating at a McDonald's. While I did my work on my laptop, I ate my fries and ice cream. Both were also of the expected taste and quality of that from any other McDonald's. No complaints there. Five stars for this McDonald's, hands down. It's a little old, definitely not the newest and greatest McDonald's around the Quad Cities. It got the job done for my needs, though. Seriously, though - were you reading this review to decide if you were going to go to this McDonald's? If so, that's a little lame. It's a McDonald's, don't overthink it.

New McDonald's Drive-Thru by Target in Moline, and oh boy, I would love to speak to the General Mgr. Ordered dinner last night 10/16/2024 for my daughter, 2 granddaughters any myself. Ordered two $5 bags with both to gave the regular McChicken, a McChicken deluxe dinner which includes a medium fry & a drink. Lastly, a quarter pounder w/bacon dinner, likewise a medium fry and drink and a vanilla cone. The guy taking the order was so irritating by asking, "will that be all" after every single item I ordered. I get to to window to pay, same guy. He takes my debit card, not one word, runs my card & hands it back. I said, "thank you" no response back. Last I recall, it's me & every other customer that pays your wage, a thank you is the least you can say. Now, there are two pick up windows. Cashier never indicated which window to proceed to 1 or 2. I go to the first window, there is no one at the window, BUT, there are two people visible who were mopping the floor. I sat there for a few minutes, still no one came to the window. So I figured I needed to go to the second window. Well that was a big NOPE, no one was there either, just a bunch of Halloween buckets for the Happy Meals. So I drive back around, had to sit behind the person who was behind me when I was ordering. Finally, I get to the first window, there she is, standing there with my 4 drinks and my vanilla cone which was upside in a plastic cup with a spoon. I told the gal that I didn't order the cone in a cup. She gave me a glare, handed me my drink carrier and set the icecream to the side & said, "I need you to pull forward to the second window for the rest of your order." At the second window the same gal appears with my cone, hands it to me a closes the window. Five minutes later another gal appears with the rest of my order. She at least said, thank you. Get home, the two McChickens are the spicey McChickens. A medium fry was missing AND. the quarter pounder w/bacon was pink on the edges and had been doused with so much salt and pepper that I couldn't even eat it. So, McDonald workers by Target in Moline, IL., thank you for shorting & wrecking our $34 dollar dinner. I will never, EVER stop at your establishment again. It was clearly done in spite because I refused the melting icecream cone that you decided to put in a plastic cup. It makes me wonder if that was the only thing you did to our meals. Huge disappointment for a Billion dollar company!!...
