Kobe Japanese Steakhouse — Restaurant in Moncks Corner

First of all... there is no hibachi grill unless it's hidden in the back! There is no bar... only a few selections of beer and wine. I didn't really care for the smell when I walked in but I wanted sushi so I thought I'd still give it a try! There were only 3 tables occupied with the max of 4 at one of the tables... we were only a party of 2! After placing our order of sushi and a couple of entrees... we were still left w/o any dinner 45 minutes later. The table behind us ordered a to go entree after we odered and miraculously the food came out even still before we were served!!! Absolutely ridiculous... I would hate to see what it's like if the restaurant was packed. We paid for our tea which had to be refilled with ice by this time and left! This was our 1st time and it will definitely be our last! This restaurant really makes the "Kobe"...

The strangest, most bizarre experience I've ever had at a restaurant. I'll start by saying the food is at best slightly below-average. But the overall vibe of the restaurant is so, so weird and off-putting we almost left as soon as we sat down - and I wish we had. Nobody else there, complete silence. Our server was rude, and was constantly throwing out awkward and passive-aggressive remarks the entire meal. All culminating in "please tip me, please tip me" as she handed out each check. This on top of standing over the 18-year old while he finished signing his check to make sure he tipped, before grabbing it off the table before he could even set the pen down. Stay away from here unless you want bad food and...

Place has definitely changed in the worse way. I eat here several times out the month and would rave about the service and food. I went today and was totally FLOORED. I opened my food and saw shrimp that were smaller than salad shrimp in my food. I ordered JUMBO!I thought they gave me the wrong order. I called the lady and she said this is what the serve now?! Well this is NOT what I ordered! Also how do you change the product but not the price or description?? I'm very dissatisfied and disappointed. I will not support or send anyone else there. Cutting cost is one thing but this was shady! I wish ai could show a picture!...
