McDonald's — Restaurant in Moncks Corner

I gave McDonald's Moncks Corner another try guys and gals...They have the new app so I thought I would give them another opportunity to redeem themselves but my 1st review is still below 👇. The parking lot was ridiculously overcrowded and both drive through lines were backed up. They were filling orders and moving people to spots to wait for food. App or not. My app went wonky after I thought I completed my order. Screen blaned out, and couldn't find the order under my recently ordered items. Since they were stupid busy and the money💸 didn't get charged, or so I thought 🤔, i left and wnt to the emergency i had to get to. Low and behold when i decided after my emergency was handled, i would get some Chinese buffet instead, I see my card was charged 23.71! 😢🤨 I don't have any food from them, I'm eatting Chinese buffet! I try calling, 📞...multiple times and straight to the fax machine. So I go back...because there's NO WAY to dispute it on the app! 😕😤🤯. I'm told since i came back rhey can fix the food for me now, i at that point didn't need the food anymore 😒 I just wanted my money back 9n my card. 💸 the manager explained politely that until it went from pending to paid there was little they could do, bc my money was basically in limbo. The othe manager took the receipt and said he would refund me after 5 business days once the payment processed. That was on the 6th, by the 17th there still was no refund💸 so I went back.😕 It happened to be a day that my mom had an appointment and she was hangry, so instead of asking for the money 💰, I got the food. It was good 👍, everything was hot and fresh 🔥👌 and the manager remembered who I was 🤗 so I am upgrading to a 4, only bc the staff was so great and the app was a jerk.

Only the Drive through was open. (1 line) I ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and a Mcdouble, 2 fries and a lots of pickles on the Side. The line moved quickly, tho I did notice a lot of cars were pulling over to the side.The Mcdouble was burnt and looked as if it was sitting in the warmer for hours,😔 The chicken sandwiches were very spicy and I thought they came without spice from what I saw on the screen, so my friends daughter, that I ordered one of the sandwiches for, was too spicy for her 18 month old mouth...The fries were hard, old and unsalted but the pickles were Great!🥰 The service was friendly🤗, but I had to pull over for my food to be brought out, and the disappointment I felt when I pulled into my yard and pulled out my food in anticipation...well let's just say check your food for freshness before leaving the...

Today I decided to stop in since they have any size drink for $1. When I pulled in of course the drive thru was backed up as usual so I went inside thinking I would be in and out since they do not have to prepare anything. This was not the case. I ordered my drink on the kiosk and then I turned towards the front counter to get my cup. A lady was ordering so I got behind her. When it was my turn, the lady at the register walked off as if I wasnt there and propped herself up on her elbows at the end of the serving line. She and the lady getting drive thrus food stood there talking about what the cooks did not do right and of course continued to act as if I was not there. Then, I guess it was time for the lady in drive thru to go on break because a man came up and plugged headphones in his ear and took over the window while they talked about an outfit she wore. At this time 2 people were standing at the counter staring and trying to get someone's attention. An older gentleman said "excuse me maam" 2 times and was ignored. The lady beside me said she got half of her food and the girl was supposed to be getting the rest, but she guessed she forgot because she was taking so long. Finally the man got someone's attention and asked if the bags on the counter was his and he just got a nod and he left. The lady now on her break was chatting with someone beside me that just walked up whom I presume was a friend since they were loudly chatting about what her next outfit was going to be. All while me and the other lady was still getting ignored. A few minutes later, the girl who was working the register finally brought the rest of the ladies order and STILL ACTED LIKE I WAS NOT STANDING THERE and returned to the end of the serving line. I got fed up and had to say loudly "MAAM" 2 times just to get the lady on breaks attention. I told her I just ordered a large coke and wanted a cup. She did not say a single word, handed me a cup and I got my drink and left. All this took almost 10 minutes just for a drink!!!! I will never again go here. I will stop at a gas station or Taco Bell to get a drink before I ever go...

A few years ago this McDonalds was great, customer service, friendly, cleanliness, hot food, fast delivery, and no complaints. Within the past year there’s been a dramatic change! Just last week I made an order at the drive thru and changed the order, only to have the cashier yell through the speaker about sauce for a ten piece chicken nugget when I’d clearly said I’d like to change that twice. He was confronted about yelling, from me yelling back asking him who he’s yelling at, he stated he wasn’t talking to me. Well excuse me, but I’m the person placing the order and initially wanted nuggets. Once I got to the window I addressed him about the matter again, letting him know he tried it, and I was told he meant it for the person who was on the phone! Wow! On the phone at the drive thru during work! Work ethics are great here huh!! It didn’t stop there.

I pulled to the window for my food and received cold stiff fries. I waited for the young lady who gave me my drinks and food to return to the window after closing the window and walking away so damn fast. Minutes went by as I blew the horn, the staff continued to walk by looking at me and looking away. I couldn’t take it much longer, I knocked on the window as loud as thunder bringing the attention of 3 workers and which one seemEd to have been a shift leader, manager, or supervisor, which neither fit the position because she stood looking like a deer in headlights when I addressed the issues to one of the ladies that came to the window. I was told to pull up and fresh hot fries were given. It was at that moment I realized, I WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION IF ANY OF ITS RESTAURANT AT ALL.

There’s been several times they have dropped the ball when it comes to customer service, food preparation, and timing! I’m telling you it’s like the staff knows you have 2 strikes and they’re doing all they can to cause you your third! Stay away! Eat elsewhere and take me seriously! Hell stay home and cook, like the guy at the window said during a previous visit! I’m taking his advice and you should...
