So this is clearly a local jewel, as Becky and Leah knew everyone's names as they came through. They were prompt, very relaxed and fun to talk with. If our coffee cups were empty, they sure weren't for long. Becky was taking outstanding care of our table. She's Very outgoing and happy to take care of us. As clear tourist to the area, (Maine plates on the truck and they saw us get out.) I couldn't have felt more at home..

The food, swear I blinked maybe four times and our food was plated and ready for delivery.. I'm saying wicked fast turnaround on ordertimes. Are you I'm a hurry, yet want something great, eat here.

Everything tasted great! Steak was done as ordered, home fries were not hard, (like chips), eggs to order, and pancakes warm and fluffy! I'm definitely going back in the morning for one last time before I make my way home.

*UPDATE So we went back Friday morning @11 a.m.. I'm not about to post names of our servers. But I can promise you, it surely was Becky or Leah.. It was a 180° turn around.. To their defense, it was busy on our half of the building. But today we actually asked for more coffee, she did eventually remember.. Definitely over :10 minutes before it came through. We also ordered a side of hash browns...they never came.. not with the order, and we did remind our server about them.. we were done eating and they never hit the table. So we asked that they took it off our bill. So in short, Thursdays appear to be the mornings to go there..OR call ahead to see who's working, because, it's night and day.. On a positive note, the food we did receive, still...

This place came recommended by my daughter so I expected it to be really good ,I had some out of town guests who I wanted to have breakfast with so I choose to give this place a try , I knew I should have left when we ordered coffee and the sugar dispenser was so filthy 😔 I ask for package sugars but it wasn't available in regular sugar the waitress told me while passing by never stop to see my concern 😔 food came out timely but I wasn't looking forward to eating it after looking around my area and seeing it was very unkept, window seals was very dirty and dusty we had a booth by the window which was preferred by us but that was a mistake 😔 needless to say the food came and I was just as disappointed in the food as I was of the attention of the cleaning of the restaurant and so were my guest 😭 eggs was overcooked, grits undercooked , omelette was not fluffy and vegetables inside was not cooked or at least warmed 😭 this experience at this restaurant has definitely taught me a lesson if it doesn't feel right upon first view of walking in just leave. Wish I would have asked to speak to a manager but I didn't want to make a big deal about it in front of the other customers. Sorry this is definitely a no go for me. *Note to manager please look at the sugar dispenser in the second booth from the wall and have it cleaned that's very unsanitary. Would have given zero Stars if I could. Visit on February 25th 2018 walked in as we are a mixed couple with children had other family members on the way to eat breakfast while we were passing through to visit someone in the hospital no one acknowledged we were there I had to walk up and ask them for table for 8 people and was told to push two small tables together but an older woman piped up and said we are leaving you can have this table the table was big enough for all of us but the older white men that was by the table stole three of the chairs before we could get to the table stood for about 8 minutes and no one brought us the three remaining chairs that we needed had to approach a waiter who took his time bringing us chairs and was told by our waitress that no one wanted to serve us so they passed us to her. The food was awful I ordered a mushroom and spinach omelette with bacon on the side and the vegetables tasted like they had reach their expiration date. The spinach was mushy and all-around texture was awful taste was awful I honestly thought I was just eating on lard will not be back but the waitress received a healthy tip. A bunch of racist people in there I would not recommend anyone going to this restaurant to eat. We caught a cook out back smoking and picking...
