A flyer for this truck was taped to my door. I love Indian food and didn't wait long to try this new food truck, just up River Road at The Copper Mercantile parking lot. My first (yes, first) was Chicken Tikka Masala with garlic naan. It was very good. The spices were complex, the naan so soft and flavorful. Had to go back and try more! Yesterday, after a long day at Pride in the Park, we stopped to pick up dinner. This time, I got the Butter Chicken with more of their soft, buttery, garlic naan and tried the Samosas with Channa Dal. Ooh! The chicken is so tender you can shred the big, meaty bites with a spoon. The Samosas? Fresh, soft, and a nice kick of spice that is not too hot, but floats on your tongue with a tingle. I ate my leftovers tonight. The Butter Chicken over rice warmed in the microwave for 2 and a half minutes did not dry out that tender chicken that still shredded easily with my spoon and the naan warmed in the air fryer for 60 seconds was still soft and did not get hard. Can't wait to try other dishes! Regret not taking pics, but the ones posted here look exactly like what we received, so I think they've got consistency down, too. The fact that they are doing this out of a truck impresses me. Please check them out and post a review! Definitely glad to have quality Indian food in the...
Read moreI am sorry for miscommunication* with the owner, who I upset. Not my intent. The language gap did not help. While I didn't eat the food, I observed top-notch safety standards, from mesh-mask to hairnet to gloves. I have never seen a restaurant with this (needed) carefulness, let alone a food cart. Big stars for that.
*Asked about a curry not on menu; male owner expressed it's available. I expressed I needed and budgeted for a half order. A pick-up came between this interaction, so I stepped back. We resumed a few seconds, then I paused upon a person arriving, new to Indian food, expressing uncertainty. I asked if they want input, they expressed interest, I gave it. They interacted with the owner, then left. Owner and I resumed: I figured based on menu prices of $15, half is $7.50 with rice. I offered $7 since I don't eat rice; when he did not like that, I verbalized I could gladly provide $10, but he closed the transaction and did not offer the food, upset. Again, very sorry for the miscommunication, and wishing this...
Read moreI can't say enough good things about Indian Marsala House! The food is absolutely delicious—authentic, flavorful, and you can really tell it's made with care. The garlic naan and butter chicken are hands down our favorites, but honestly, there are so many other amazing options to try as well. Every dish is packed with great flavor, and they use such fresh ingredients.
What really made our experience special, though, was Kajal. She is the sweetest! So helpful, kind, and really went out of her way multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely thoughtful, and it made all the difference in making our visit unforgettable.
If you're looking for amazing food and even better service, this is the place!...
