Y’all. This is probably the best food in Madison hands down. If you want some soul food MAN. This is soul food. My mouth was doing backflips. Then I went home and ate it cold and it was still delicious. It’s so good. They made it fresh and were very nice and polite. But yea that food was fire.

I will say I have been trying to come here for months. Today I was lucky enough to catch them but sometimes they aren’t here during their open hours so that does suck quite a bit…especially since the food is literally amazing. 10/10.

And the environment of the truck itself is a little sketchy so that might turn some people off, but the food makes up for it.

This bbq is awesome and well priced. You can taste the wood smoke in the meat and the bbq sauce is really tasty....not too sweet and nicely spiced. The meat is nice and tender with just the right amount of crispy blackened edges. Some of the best bbq I've had in Madison. The only thing I would say needs improvement might be the potatoes salad.... it was kind of bland and generic. The Cole slaw was good and the the beans have a good smoke flavor but were a bit too spicey hot for me but I'm guessing most would find them really good. I ordered online today the money was taken from my account and I even received a text message saying the order was being prepared. When I arrived to pick it up it was closed and it was well within posted business hours. I called and was told that he was moving so they weren’t open and he would refund the money when he was done. I understand everybody has things they need time off for but I feel they should have updated it online so orders couldn’t be placed while they were closed. He did refund the money that same day. I just wish they would have handled the situation differently...
