
I have gone to the "all you can eat crabs" here for a few years now. Never had an issue until last night. We already knew the first round does not go in until 6:30, which is fine...however it was almost 45 minutes until we got a second plate. We also ordered corn and fries which we had to ask about before they ever made it to the table and only did after we had to ask. When we did finally get another round they were so overcooked it was like mush inside. Anyone who eats crabs knows the "leg snap" and all these legs did was bend, it was actually disturbing. Some of them were so dark and bitter that there were inedible. I saved one to show the manager as we had to ask the hostess to send him to our table since our waitress "Jay" was no where to be found. When the runners came to the table they would just drop a new plate never taking the last. Our whole visit was spent waiting for crabs or swatting bugs. If the table would be been cleaned appropriately I am sure that would have cut down on the number of bug bites I now have. Anyway....after waiting for about 40 min the man who identified as the manager "Manny" arrived at our table. I explained the issues, showed him the inedible crabs, the sloppy table, the lack of people who are cleaning or taking the plates and changing the buckets. He literally just stood there and stared at me. I explained I am a manger myself and that I wanted to extend the courtesy so that he could correct the issue....he said nothing. No, I'm sorry, no, how can I make it right....NOTHING. He took our shell bucket and walked away and never returned with a new one. Again we had to ask a server for a bucket for shells. Why?? I know your busy, I know this is one of your most popular nights, but our table was a $300-350 table and we deserved to get the food we paid for. So I will not return, which is sad because my friends and I enjoy the happy hour there. I wont patronize a restaurant that can not take accountability for their poor service.
*Edit to owners response. Please do not gaslight patrons to believe the way that we explained to the "Manager" was in your words "a bit over the top." Maybe our explanation wouldn't have been so drawn out if he actually said something in return instead of just standing there and staring at us. You proved my point on the lack...

Arrived and we sat at a 2 top no issues there - waitress came over and took our order no problem there, walked up to the buffet, plenty of food and hot so no issues there, went back to our table tried our drinks - didn't like the bloody Mary's NOT Theor fault we stepped outside out comfort zone to try them just not for us so no issues there - problem is everything went downhill from there. Never saw our waitress at all finished our breakfast never saw her so we could order different drinks so I walked over to the bar and ordered drinks and paid the bartender for them. Went back to the table and when the drinks were done still no waitress so backbup to the bar I walked. Waitress saw me standing at the bar and asked if I needed something. I told her I know your busy so I had ordered drinks from the bad and paid for them but needed another. She said she'll get it. OK she placed the order when it came out of the POS the bartender made my drink to which we watched it sit for another 10mins on the bar. I walked over to the bar and the bartender who made our QST round of drinks asking is everything was OK. I said not really I believe that's my drink over there or I'll pay for another one, I just wanted a drink. The waitress see's me at the bar and says I'll bring over your drink to the table. Then, we never saw her again until we litterly stood at the end of the bar trying to get her attention so we could get our check to pay That took quite a while to happen. I get it she's probably overwhelmed as it looked like she was mostly handling the back room and looked like we were 1 or maybe 2 tables she had out front. So she was in a no win situation as place was short staffed, nobody to bus tables, at 1 point the hostess and bartender were bussing tables. Wasn't till we were walking out of the room did we see anyone come out to bus tables. Just another bad time at Williamstown Racks and quite frankly 2nd bad experience in like last 6 times so doubt I can keep trying to say let's give them another try.    Read moreI requested a chicken ranch wrap grilled to my liking, specifically asking for the chicken to be extra grilled. However, when I got my meal, the chicken looked pale and hardly grilled. I took a bite and it didn't meet my expectations. I informed the server about the issue, and she offered to get me something else..( she wasnât very pleasant about it and just left it there as if she didnât want to take it back).I ended up deciding to order a cup of soup instead.
When I received the check, the wrap was still included. The manager came out and tried to argue with me about the food, despite me explaining that I wanted the chicken extra grilled. I insisted that it wasn't prepared as requested and having something grilled doesnât equal burnt. Eventually, the manager agreed to make a new one, but I had already ordered something else and lost interest in the wrap at that point. It's disappointing because we used to frequent this place for lunch, but I have no intention of returning over a disagreement about an 8-dollar item. Sad! Lost my business.
In response to your response: I specifically mentioned that I had already ordered something else, but it appears that you simply ignored that. I had lost interest in the wrap and had no intention of taking one home. It is disappointing that your cooks were unable to follow directions from the beginning. Given the circumstances, I fail to see why I should bother. Itâs crazy to see a customer being argued with by this establishment. So with that being said.. considering the establishment's petty food policies, I see no reason to tip, especially since the $8 charge was to me considered the tip. You seem butt hurt over a google review. Get over yourself!
