Union County Farmers Market — Local services in Monroe

We visit the market every year as we head home to West Virginia. It has always been a wonderful experience. Until I encountered a lying thief vendor Saturday June 21st, 2025...I have often bought multiple items of high quality so I have trusted the vendors, and have never been disappointed. There was an older man set up at the end on the right selling multiple vegetables and fruit. The regular peach vendor was not there this year. The peaches are very nice as are the nectarines. Upon getting home I began to lay them out. I realized all peaches on top were as he said not quite ripe...but the not quite ripe peaches hidden underneath were molded and starting to rot. I agree this can happen "honest" mistake. What was not a mistake is the 120 lbs of peaches and nectarines i was sold turned out to be three half bushels instead of three bushels as I was assured by the seller..Total weight for a bushel of peaches is right around 40 lbs...All three bushels combined weighed out at 60 lbs..if you are reading this or know this guy please reimburse me half of what I pd you which was 148.14...Or stay a liar and continue to cheat others..I have pictures of the weight and the...
