Me and my friends go here regularly and this dude started accusing us of stealing when we literally would never disrespect pokemon cards. Everyone is chill except the one guy and he honestly ruins the business with paranoia. Dont bring your business here. Actually I am not finished writing about this horribly runned business. The owner or whatever he is decided to falsely accuse me and my friends, and bring it all the way to calling the cops over accusations he cannot even back up. The man changed his story several different times, and he accused us of distracting a supposedly disabled employee while we sat on the couch and shoved cards in our pockets. SO many things are wrong with this statement. 1. How on earth would we ever know there is no camera by the couch 2. Why would you put no camera by the couch area if thats where your binders are and 3. How would we know the worker is disabled. The workers along with fellow regulars mentioned how the guy does things like this and can act out at times as he did ti me and my friends. I personally think it is horrible to falsely accuse people of things with no proof. He kept saying he had 17 videos of proof but then never showed it because he cannot show us, yet he said he showed 30 other people supposedly to verify it. That does not make much sense does it? He then proceeded to give my friend a free pack for him to be quiet. Again, pretty weird. This place is the only card shop near us and we enjoyed coming here a lot. We have bought and traded over 100 dollars of Pokemon with this establishment. I now regret it all because this whole incident has made me lose some of the love i had for pokemon, and that breaks my heart to say because I never thought that would happen. If you truly want to put up with the bad business they have running somehow still, by all means go here. To the person who made the 4 star review. I really appreciate you being respectful about how you shared your opinion. But respectfully you don’t know all the details. You are saying we “more than likely stole it” because we cannot get our stories straight. It is very hard to get our story straight when the man continued to change his story that he was providing all of us. We will be trying to bring this up as a huge deal because it is a huge deal. If they are going to run their business paranoid than do it. That does not mean you falsely accuse some kids of stealing 700 dollars. They are trying to get cops involved and press those charges onto us when they have provided 0 correct evidence. There is no correct evidence because we did not do anything. I dont mind being banned because there is no way I would want to provide them more business. The fact they are a small business does not justify the things they mess up. They deserve to be brought down for the wrong actions they do. I want an apology for me and my friends for the disrespect we put up with. Then I will stop fighting...

I am relatively new to Pokémon TCG, and finally caved in and went to this shop with my friends, who are all well-versed in Pokémon. The first time, I had a great time and had learned a lot about the hobby. I was eager to go a second time, hoping to actually make some trades with some cards I had recently acquired that had actual value. So there I am, sitting down with my friend on one of the couches in the shop with a binder of vintage cards spread out between us. After some time I look up and see a worker watching me. I asked my friend if that was the owner, who they had previously met during another trip I was not apart of. My friend told me no and I continued to look through the binder. Eventually, I find a grimmsnarl card that was cheap and looked cool. Keep in mind, I’m still new, and don’t have any boxes or books to keep my cards in. So as I go up to trade for the grimmsnarl, the worker that was watching me accuses me of stealing. I of course was very confused and tried asking for an explanation, which was met with very harsh accusations backed by absolutely absurd conclusions. If you are reading this and are considering going here, do not go in a group of 3. Because to the worker, it seemed like we were using the 3rd friend as a distraction up front so we could steal. Keep in mind, all of the cards we were looking at were worth at most $2. Also, the worker stated that we were sitting in a blind spot intentionally. If you do plan on stealing the blind spot for cameras is on the couch, which seems like a very poor design choice, considering the couch would have the most traffic. Later in the night, the worker stepped outside and got on the phone with someone. During the call, the worker began to use very harsh language and continued to accuse me of stealing cards and reselling. Eventually, the owner showed up and talked to me and my friends. He was very nice and gave my friends some good deals for our troubles. That was the end of that night. I am writing this review today because a big group of my friends, including the 2 I was with during prior trips, had the cops called on them and were held outside for some time. Keep in mind I was not there for this trip, but me and my 2 friends have all received bans for allegedly stealing $700. I believe this is extremely unfair because I was not present for this. Read all of the 1 star reviews and you’ll see stories don’t add up, this kids more than likely stole and are trying to take the business down because they got caught, to these kids, this is a small business and these particular types of businesses are extremely vulnerable to shoplifting, the perceived paranoia makes total sense, if y’all were being honest and didn’t steal anything, lastly, small businesses don’t need to be witch-hunted, larger corporations do, you’ll learn that in a couple years.
