Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Monroe

So after a third visit of coming to this specific one that I love, I’ve been getting the bacon burritos which I have become to love, but I noticed on the back. It has a lot of crud on the back of it and I brushed it off the first two times and laid it by so this time, which is October 4 I come to get the pumpkin which I love and order the bacon burrito and which sale still had the same stuff on it and I told the girl that they needed to clean the tray and she was like oh it’s just from other food but that’s the point you are to clean this thing after each use because nobody wants to buy it into Grits or SKU better yet it’s called carbon buildup. That means it’s not being clean frequently and she act like she had an attitude when I asked about it because I added a coffee at the window and I had to drive all the way around with the lime when I got around was almost at the road the entrance so I did that so I got back to the window. She said we did the burrito in which it still looks like it was the same burrito that I had the first time I will be taking it back and I want my refund for the burrito, but I enjoyed my coffee and this is my favorite spot of all the other scooters that I’ve visited, I like this one, but if I have to get this type of atmosphere and response from the cashier like I got the day, I will not be going to visit there anymore and it was a young lady that had a bunch of tattoos all over her arm, and I didn’t like her...

I FINALLY got a chance to try out the new Scooter's Coffee in Monroe, NC. I was hoping for something better than Starbucks but was skeptical that any coffee shop could produce decent coffee. (For the record I do not like Starbucks at all.) I ordered a peppermint flavored cappuccino figuring they would over power the coffee with too much peppermint like most shops. I also ordered a Southwest Breakfast burrito just to get a feel of their food offerings. Lets start with the coffee. First, they nailed the ratio of peppermint flavoring to coffee. It had a nice peppermint flavor without overpowering the flavor of the coffee. I was very surprised! The foam was wasn't the super stiff mushroom cap mess most shops plop on top, but a nice velvet smooth texture that melted nicely into the coffee. I was very pleased with this cup of coffee that came from a shop! Now the breakfast burrito at first glance was a let down. It was considerably smaller than what I usually got at the fast food places. But after I took another sip of that wonderful peppermint cap I figured it was worth a shot. They did not disappoint! While smaller in size it was huge on flavor! Nice heat without being over bearing, thing tortilla that reminded me of a spring roll wrapper, and nice textures. Went here with my daughter and ordered a peppermint mocha and her a hot chocolate. They asked me if i wanted Her hot chocolate kids temp i said Yes. Well they must of used the same water for my drink because it was not hot at all so i pulled Back around asked if i could Get something else made because my drink had barely no flavor and was cold and was told basically that they can not make me nothing else or remake it unless something was wrong with it when clearly it was. Starbucks would never question why you want a drink remade if you pay for something and do not like it as a consumer you have the right to get what you actually paid for. This place lost me as a customer i reached out and sent in a customer service complaint on it and never heard back from this company. The young lady had an attitude with me on it when i asked For something else which i am not sure why not like this place was busy. Off to...
