I cannot even begin to comment on poor service! Because there was NO service whatsoever!!!!!!!! Let me explain...At 9:30 pm this evening,Feb 23,2018,I developed a food craving to which only Waffle House could satisfy.I'm certain most of you know what i am refering to....Of course....Breakfast in the evening...So i placed a call to this Waffle House for a pick up order. No one answered the phone, and directed my call to voicemail....I was not completely baffled at this point because this actually happened twice before within the last 6 weeks!!!!!!! I know what you are thinking right now...Maybe they were swamped with business and could not attend the phone???.I am literally 10 minutes from this location, so i proceeded to drive up there and place my order in person and just wait a few extra minutes...No problem....Not really an issue at this point to me because i knew exactly what i wanted and truly was not that hungry for anything else...I arrived at this location at approximently 9:45 pm, walked to the counter and quietly waited for someone to take my take out order...In a nutshell...I literally, NO B.S!...Stood there for almost exactly 15 minutes without a single greeting from ANY of the 7 employees on shift this night!!!!!!!!!..Yes i did count them...At any given point during this horrendous experience, every employee made brief eye contact with me just standing there...However NOT ONE PERSON....greeted me,asked to take my order,or even say i will be with you in a moment....NOTHING!! .blank faces and no smiles from ANY EMPLOYEE!!....is my money not good here anymore??..WOW!!!!!!!!!! what just happened???........And to make it worse,I stood there and observed 2 female employees leaning on the counter engrossed in their smart phones!!!!!!.Looking up randomly to see if i was still there..And 1 female employee actually sitting down at the short counter eating and occasionly looking right at me........At this point,.I was totally and completely aware that i was simply experiencing the ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Given that i am 52 years old,.and thought i have seen it all...I will forever remember Waffle House this way....So after our little staring contest for 15 minutes,.I broke first...and had to leave!!!....Store managers, upper level managers, even owners of this particular restaurant,PLEASE REVIEW YOUR IN STORE CAMERAS !!!!!!The cameras are there to protect the customers, protect the employees as well as protect your investment. Please review at the very least ...This particular evening..You are not making any money by continuing to employ these 7 individuals......Why on earth would i waste 30 minutes of my time with this review??...And even social media??..I just hope that i have opened the eyes of the management team as well as the customers of my now, forever gone,...
Read moreYou get what you get! The staff are not truly caring about their jobs they just want a paycheck or tips the sad thing is the cook doesn't take pride in what they are cooking. They literally just swinging on a plate and I think it is really sad because this is not the way the waffle House was run back when I worked there. I didn't work at this particular store however I worked on and off for about 20 years with the waffle House. We cared about our we also tried to make sure that they were comfortable their food was just right now you go in and they don't care how the food is cooked and if you try to say anything then they want to argue back with you that is fine and half of it ain't even cooked or it's overcooked or you're getting something you didn't even order or you're missing the cheese in your scrambled eggs or onions in your potatoes it's just ridiculous they don't do a pool system they just holler it out and get like I said what you get. I know one thing they need to train their Cooks better because these Cooks don't even know how to cook an omelette it is the most pitiful thing I've ever seen in my life. They literally need someone from corporate to go in there or send someone in disguise to see about it because this is terrible especially on second shift. I also know that first shift isn't doing what they're supposed to do and leaving it for a second and second shift really doesn't care they're going to leave it for third nobody's really doing their job exactly the way it's supposed to salt shakers pepper shakers are supposed to be filled up ketchup refilled but they only do that when it needs it instead of checking it every shift. You literally have to remind them to bring you silverware, butter, surf or your jelly they also forget to butter the or bring you a waffle that's not done or overdone. They also keep the phone off the hook of the whole shift you cannot even call up there anymore. 2 months ago I called and finally got someone and they decided to say that they didn't do carry out orders over the phone any more you had to come in and place your order they would not take it over the phone! Since then you can't get anyone to answer the phone anymore. No pride at all here. I was told if you're going to do a job do it well. These people now just think that all they got to do is show up they ain't got to do anything and I think this is sad because of this generation the next one what are they going to be taught? Also people standing there instead of taking your order or checking to see if you need refills or doing their job they're standing there on their phones looking at videos of God only knows what all you hear is a bunch of people talking about I would whoop somebody's butt or if that were my man or my girl but they certainly aren't worried about the customers in...
Read moreAbsolutely unprofessional management. We asked the waitress for special accomodations in which she did suggest other options to stay within policy, but we told her we preferred to sit the way we asked and she kindly obliged. Then the manager and a guy started talking very loudly saying that she knew better than to sit us there and was making a scene about the waitress. A member of our party addressed the manager and told her we would move but she didn't need to talk to that waitress that way and after a few words back and forth we were told she didn't have to serve us. We only asked for accomodations due to a health issue and and we told the manager, and she didn't care! We will never return to this location. The guy, Chris and manager, Jessica still continued to talk about us and run their mouths after we were leaving. We will be contacting corporate after all of this. That poor waitress was in tears and we still tipped her even though we left. I really hope she finds a better job with a manager and a company that respects her and...
