I’ve given this Sonic a lot of grace in the past. They’ve managed to mess up many orders over the last two years since we’ve lived here, but nothing that made me want to leave a bad review, especially because I know they’ve experienced staffing issues and also issues with keeping their branded materials (straws, cups, bags) in stock, which is obviously not the employees’ fault. But tonight we waited well over 30 minutes for our full order. I won’t place full blame on Sonic, as the ordering process was muffled by our 2-year-old interrupting and our 5-year-old being inconveniently indecisive, but the person taking the order was struggling on her end and we heard more of the inside conversation than I believe was intended. Once our order finally arrived, we noticed right off the bat that some items were missing, so we pushed the button again. We gave our stall number, provided the items we needed, again heard conversations with colleagues, and never heard another word about whether they were coming out with it. We ended up waiting quite a while longer — long enough that we needed to push the button again to confirm that someone was coming — and finally got the remainder of our order. I will say those items are fresh and hot, which we appreciate, but better communication would have been nice given when we hit the button the second time, the conversation literally just fell off. Read moreYesterday, all I wanted was a shake and a drink so I pulled into the drive-thru and waited for about 5 minutes, asking if anyone was there. Never greeted. So, I pulled around and parked in a stall, thinking the drive-thru speaker wasn't working, and I pushed the red button. The banner came across saying someone would be with me. Another lady was greeted and even received her large order, still not even a "I'll be with you in a moment" for me. 10 MINUTES LATER, after the banner had disappeared and I pushed the button again, I thought maybe something was wrong with THIS STALL and went to the outdoor seating area and pushed that button. I could see people inside. After standing there for another 5 minutes in 95 degree heat, I lost patience and just left. I wasted 20 of my 30 minute lunch break here just trying to get a shake and a drink....
Read moreCHECK Your ORDER before leaving. Not sure if it’s a Sonic thing but stuff always end up missing! After 30 min wait, incomplete meals ( for our kids) and tipping later I won’t be back. Gotten home set up the food for family and whose food is missing the kids. This time I couldn’t skip and drove back which took back and forth another 25 min. The employees are very nice it’s just this sucks everytime. I spent time , extra gas and effort to correct that. Can’t ask for my tip back as well. Nothing back for the inconvenience and knowing fries be cold until back home as rest of meal been eaten or the opportunity to have dinner with the family as planned was ruined by circumstances.
