Yikes... it's a yikes for me... this place has always been hit or miss but tonight caused me to write this review. Had a long night of running errands and at 9:45 realized I still needed dinner. I drove across town and made it in the drive thru line at 9:54. The line was backed up from the window to the speaker, I was one car behind the speaker. We all sat there for 6 minutes until 10:00, what a coincidence. When I pulled up to the speaker I was told that they were sorry (facts) that they were closed for the night. I informed them I had been sitting in the drive thru line one spot shy of ordering for 6 minutes and it would be really great if they could take one more order. They thought about for a second and reluctantly said yes they could do one more order. I started with my order wings and things traditional, she came back with "boneless or traditional" so I repeated traditional. Then I asked for a 5 piece boneless meal with a Sprite and a side of Buffalo sauce. She came back with I'm sorry, I didn't get any of that... I repeated the 5 piece order with a Sprite and extra Buffalo sauce. She said there will be a wait on the boneless wings do you still want them? Uh yeah, still hungry, what's another few minutes at this point.. She said your total is $8.85.... I wish.... so I said didn't you get the first part? The wings n things traditional that you had to confirm that I wanted traditional? "Oh yeah, sorry bout that" then silence, no total, so I pulled to window where 4 teenage (possibly early 20's) girls were giggling amongst themselves, one of them opened the window and said 22 something... when did wings and things become $14 after tax? Doesn't matter I won't be back.. SO THEN AFTER I PAID I was informed they were now OUT OF BONELESS WINGS?!?!?! Did I want to switch to traditional,, well since I've paid and oh yeah, still hungry, I guess traditional will have to work. I CANT WAIT FOR HUEY...
Read morei understand the hours of 11-2 may be busy because i’ve worked customer service jobs before too; i understand what a lunch rush is. but it doesn’t matter if i have a mobile order or not, or if I come at 11AM or 2PM. my food being made & the drive thru service ALWAYS take at least 15-20 minutes. it is absurd to have to wait in line that long EVERY time i come here, especially for a mobile order. with limited time, i can’t be sitting in a drive thru through my short lunch break. there is nothing “fast” about this fast food! the way they handle every rush is ridiculous. i get to the window and they ask me multiple different names that aren’t mine, and search through bags of food for my order. you’d think it would be sitting there ready and labeled by the time i get to the window if i'm sitting here waiting 20 minutes for something ordered 35 minutes ago! i was hoping to see improvement with the remodel but i unfortunately have not.
UPDATE: after 20+ minutes in line and much confusion between the employees, i got my mobile order. they asked me the wrong name, and then gave me SODA in my cup that they WROTE “swt tea” on!!! i’m not mad about a sweet tea, i’m mad because how in the world do you even manage to do that?? how are you gonna label the cup for sweet tea, and still put coke in there and give it to me? and they didn’t even give me a dang straw. come on now. this place needs another remodel, but internally. i’m talking training, new managers, etc. maybe corporate will come during lunch time one day and get the wrong drink (although the cup is labeled correctly) and NO STRAW after waiting for 20 minutes...
Read moreThe food is good and the employees are nice, but after my last two experiences I won't be going back. Both times I ordered ahead with the app. Showed up when I was supposed to. One time went inside and the employees didn't acknowledge me at the pickup counter for 15 minutes, while serving door dash drivers who literally walked up behind me. Then when I finally got their attention it took another 20 minutes to get my food since they hadn't started cooking it yet. It was supposed to be done 30 minutes prior. Then the next time again online order. This time went through drive thought. Took 30 minutes from the time I get in line until I get to the speaker where you order and told them I'm there for online order. Another 30 minutes to get to the window. Then I'm told my food hadn't been cooked yet, they were putting it on right then and asked to pull up. After another 30 minutes I get impatient 1.5 hrs so far) I get out of my car and go in. It had been sitting there in the counter for who knows how long. They had forgotten to bring it out to me. They apologize, but nothing is offered to help make up for this huge waste time. I then, after cooling down for a few days leave a comment on zaxby's website for this store management and asked to be contacted about it. It's been over a week and I haven't heard anything. So the only thing I can take from that is that they know and don't care. So, I won't be going back to this location any time in the near future. It's a sad day when Mcdonald's is giving better and quicker service...
