For a chain restaurant in a niche market like BBQ, Mission pulled it off. The atmosphere in the location feels warm, but is very much a corporate design. Love seeing the local responder patches from all around the area. The service is well above par. Every person greets you and makes you feel welcome. I've never felt like a burden walking in or asking for a to go container. In terms of similar establishments, this is probably the best amongst its peers in terms of service. The food is fantastic. For mass produced BBQ, you really can't ask for much more. The rubs are flavorful and tasty and in general the meat is great. I've had a unrendered fatty slice of brisket here once... but just once. The turkey is legitimately the best I've ever had. Again, for a chain for BBQ, it's really good. Can you make better in your backyard? Sure. If you don't have the 18 hours to make a Texas brisket and need a quick fix, Mission pulls it off. The sauce selection is also fantastic. If you don't know what kind of BBQ sauce you like, Mission can help with that giving a wide selection of tangy to spicy to sweet to smokey with really good range. Pricing is decent. I generally get the 3 meat sampler with 2 sides and have enough to have a snack later or lunch the next day. BBQ is expensive. It's expensive to make and expensive to hold. So I found the prices to be very reasonable for the portion and quality you get. In all, I am a happy customer who will absolutely return with bells on.

Coming in the door was greeted by not one cashiers here but two friendly staff I got the yardbird BBQ two dinners to go. Potato salad and baked beans. Be aware they are a little spicy baked beans I'm glad I don't have to drive all the way out to Robinson township to go here I spent under $30. I went on a Wednesday night it was after 5:00 p.m. somewhat busy I was in and out within say under less then 10 minutes from beginning to end I mean eating in You probably would have your meal within like 5 to 10 minutes. Remember it's all what you or your family is getting takes people may very fro m person to person. It was one of the cashiers birthday the whole place saying her happy birthday song to her even the customers joined in singing Happy Birthday to her. Something for her can remember When you're driving in Monroeville the entrance to BBQ Mission is at the Aldi's market for look for Key Bank sign BBQ Mssion sign isn't that big or noticeable. I would think they would use a bigger sign letting people know that they're in there that's I think that's their only down fault.

Amazing Experience! I had a great time dining at Mission bbq. The customer service was outstanding and the staff was incredibly polite, they made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. You can really tell they care about their guests. The food was delicious, full of flavor, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. Another thing that really stood out to me was how clean and well-maintained the place is. Hygiene is very important to me, and this restaurant was spotless from the dining area to the restrooms, everything was perfectly tidy. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a clean, welcoming atmosphere!

So far, so good. I have only been here a few times and havent gone crazy yet on a real deal visit here but I will say this: After two visits in 2 weeks-

Everyone I have dealt with have been very very nice. I always make places aware it's my first time, especially if they're busy, so they know why I'm struggling and if they suggest anything and check their natural care to help me. I work in service and customer service. Both times had a very very young, new to the workforce type of employee (same both visits) on the register and both times, she was very welcoming, warm, kind, smiling and had absolutely no clue how to answer any of my questions but that's okay.....she was always smiling and asking for help from others, which she immediately received and everything is totally fine with that. Her learning that job while being able to mitigate those challenges at a new job, that's busy and things are moving quick? You got a good one, she just needs time. Not only that but the supporting cast was great to always happily help her along. One supporting member helped her answer me about the brownies and offered me one on the house as it was my first visit (previous visit, I hope she is allowed to do that and I'm not getting anyone lit up. It brought me back, fyi, so good on her for creating a customer FOR YOU on the fly. Young, small, petite with braces, caucasian)

Both times, the sauce man was your charisma guy at the end. Slick. First visit dude chose for me, and chose well. Bought a bottle on 2nd visit. I will say that day, his speech felt like he was giving it for his 40th time that hour but looking at business- it may have been that 40th time. Still delivered it perfectly fine for me. Quickly explained the setup, asked me the kind of bbq sauce I like and offered Tulepo Honey Heat and KC Original.....bought THH tonight. The guy tonight was smooth like butta. It was his 40th time saying it but hes still saying it with his chest....management? Supervisor? Both guys are solid. Great care. I appreciate both styles

I will be back to judge everything else but I'll say, the collard greens are the best greens I've got in a long time. Like chicken broth with greens, not over salted. I seek out good greens when I can. One of, if not, my all time favorite sides. The moist brisket was good for point, fatty, brisket, small like always. Ribs were cooked well but I needed to go crazy with sauce and did not. The pulled chicken went very well with the Tepulo Honey Heat Sauce, good flavors overall.

I'll have to get more and give you a bonus review from another account for just the meat or if you fail later. But I want to try some of the other food, mainly the meats so people can know honestly. Nor can I really say if it's worth it for the money. I'd have to try and break down the per person cost, etc. No thanks. It's certainly not cheap if you have big eyes for a meal but not so bad if you knew what you LOVED here and could stick to that. You know that....its bbq.

Ill say the service has been phenomenal and if you're consistent in whatever you sell, I'll be back. If you make a bad whatever sandwich, always make it bad......dont just give me the best whatever sandwich I've ever had one day but only do that once in a while. That makes me waste my money, I wont know what I like.

Pretty solid so far. Where do I pick up my key to the City? Since this review saved it, and all. Ah...

As a barbecue enthusiast, I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mission BBQ in Robinson, PA. Let me tell you, it was an experience that left my taste buds dancing and my heart swelling with pride.

The Staff: A Cut Above the Rest

The true stars of Mission BBQ? Undoubtedly, the staff. From the moment I stepped inside, their warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm set the tone. They didn’t just serve food; they shared stories, laughter, and a sense of camaraderie. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, they make you feel like family.

The Menu: A Symphony of Smoky Delights

Now, let’s talk about the food. The brisket? Tender, smoky perfection. The prime rib? A flavor explosion. And those six different barbecue sauces? Each one a masterpiece. The staff guided me through the options, ensuring I found my saucy soulmate. (Hint: Try the spicy one—it’s life-changing.)

Holy Smokes! Mission BBQ – The Heroic Hangout Batman Needs!

Yo Titans! Robin here, reporting straight from my latest discovery - Mission BBQ! And let me tell you, this place is so awesome, even Batman would be jealous he didn't find it first!

First things first, the atmosphere is like stepping into the Batcave, but with more BBQ aroma and way cooler tunes. They've got this patriotic vibe that even Starfire would appreciate, and the staff is as friendly as Beast Boy is with animals.

Now, onto the grub! Holy hotdogs, Batman! The food here is a crime-fighting delight. The ribs are so tender, they practically fall off the bone like my acrobatic moves. The pulled pork sandwich is so good, it's like a flavor explosion in your mouth – even Cyborg would give it a metal thumbs up.

And the sauces! They've got more varieties than gadgets in Batman's utility belt. I tried them all – from the sweet and tangy to the smokin' hot ones. I was practically sweating like Beast Boy after a workout.

But here's the kicker, Titans – I'm thinking of bringing Batman here. Yeah, the big, brooding, cape-wearing dude himself. I can already imagine his stern face softening as he sinks his teeth into those brisket sliders. Maybe he'll even crack a smile like Starfire when she discovers a new Earth delicacy.

I've been dropping hints like breadcrumbs for weeks, telling him Mission BBQ is the hero's hideout for good food. Picture this: Batman and I, chowing down on ribs, sharing stories about our latest battles. I'm desperate, you guys! I need to impress him with my restaurant-picking skills, and Mission BBQ is the perfect place to do it.

So, if you're looking for a spot to treat your taste buds like a superhero, head to Mission BBQ. It's Robin-approved, and I'm pretty sure Batman will thank me later – once he stops brooding and gives it a try....
