I got my whole order but my glass shelves were not delivered. This was December 7, 2024. I called that same day my furniture was delivered and let them know. Someone called 4 days later (12/11/24) stating UPS would deliver it in 10 to 14 business days. 15 business days passed, and I called the comfort care number because i did not recoeve my shelves. The lady said their distribution center must deliver it and they processed it on December 30, 2024. No one called to tell me any of this. That lady said someone should call me in a few days to schedule a date and time. I called the distribution center 3 times and left voice messages. No one called me back. Someone called me on 1/20/25 and left me a voice message that said my shelves would be delivered the next day. No one didn't give me the option of day and time that was convenient for me liek i was told they would do. The next day on 1/21/25, a driver called and left me a voice message and said he was 15 minutes away from arriving to my home. I actually did not get the message from the day before until I hear the driver's message. So the driver came but did not drop off my stuff and moved on. I called him and he declined my call and texted asking me to text him. I texted him and he said he was there but since I was not home, he left and was not allowed to leave my glass shelves. I called the customer care amd let them know. They said they would contact the distribution center center and let them know to call me to reschedule. I spoke with so many people with no direct answer of when I could get my stuff. Finally, someone called me on 2/4/25 and said they could deliver my stuff and leave it at the door instead of me having to be home. The delivery date was 2/6/25 with a window of 1030am and 230pm and I had my father-in-law there even though no one had to be there but I did not want the shelves sitting outside til I got home from work. I emailed the manager at the monroeville Pennsylvania store how disappointed I was and let her know I would never purchase anything from Lazy Boy again and if anyone asks me about where to buy furniture, I would not recommend Lazy Boy and hope they decide not to purchase anything from Lazy Boy. So, it was 2 months before I got my shelves, which is unacceptable. Also, the manager, Kristy Wiles, never responded to email, which is very unprofessional. I never got any compensation for anything, and I am not happy with the customer service I received. Obviously, management did not seem to care at all about my order, and I spent close to $ 30,000 on my order. It might not be a lot to some people, but it's a lot to me. I ordered everything on 9/24/24. Received my order on 12/7/24. Received my glass shelves that should have been delivered with all of my other furniture, on 2/6/25. And that was with a lot of phone calls and getting false delivery information. I would not suggest Lazy Boy to anyone. I'm sure my one review would not matter and they will keep making sales but they will never get my...
Read moreThe salesperson, George, was nice and courteous and helped my mother choose a Finley Power Recliner with Headrest and lumbar with remote on Feb 10, 2023, and had it delivered to my mother's apartment on Feb 15th. The delivery arrived right on time and the delivery people set it up, and that's when the positive experience stopped. The recliner remote did not work. They tried twice to reset and sync, one of them even went back to the truck to get a new remote but it did not work. They alerted another company to take care of the issue, but they could not send an engineer earlier than Feb 18th, which meant that my mother could not use the chair and we were left with the stress of not knowing if the engineer could fix it or my mother who is recovering from a surgery would have to wait for another part to be ordered. My mother doesn't speak fluent English, so she won't be able to speak to the engineer and explain or respond properly, so she will have to call me to talk to the engineer, and I live out of town. This is very upsetting for an item that I had paid in full, and not only it is not working when it is supposed to, but created a stressful and time consuming ordeal for my mother and me. How is it possible a brand new item does not work? Don't they have quality control?...
Read moreUPDATE: The warranty is basically worthless and the sales lady completely misled if not outright lied about the warranty and how it works. The back on the recliner fell apart between 6 and 9 months after we bought it and after the repairman showed up to look at it (which cost a couple hundred dollars for him to just walk in the door) he informed us that it would take about 4 to 5 hours to fix it after the parts were ordered and delivered at the same rate of a couple hundred dollars per hour that it took him to fix it. Yes, the parts were covered under the warranty but that's all. I still would have had to pay for even the shipping on the parts. It would have cost more to fix it than I paid for it. None of that was mentioned by the sales lady. She said if ANYTHING breaks or malfunctions with the exception of punctures or pet damage to the leather they will send someone to fix it or replace it. I WILL NEVER BUY THIS CHEAP JUNK MADE IN CHINA FROM LA-Z-BOY EVER AGAIN.
ORIGINAL POST: The warranty alone is worth the price for this recliner (Astor wall away recliner in custom burgundy leather). We got it on sale and the delivery guys were great in setting it up and providing all the info I needed. I'll never buy from Levin again after my...
