Rudy's Subs — Restaurant in Monroeville

I recently visited Rudy’s Subs in Murrysville/Plum and would give 3 stars. The cashier was very pleasant and the service was fast, which I appreciated. Unlike other Rudy’s locations, they didn’t accommodate item changes, which is fine, but it affected my experience. I ordered an Italian sub—it was hot and fresh, but there was very little meat, and it tasted rubbery, almost like it had been previously frozen and microwaved. Unfortunately, I have to give Rudy's 4 stars due entirely to them changing their buns. The old buns were amazing. Now they're just meh.

I've eaten here since I was a kid. The Italian sub is still the same (other than the bun) and the daily special, currently $7.99, is a great deal. You get a 6" sub, fries and a fountain drink.

The fries are shoestring cut, and they're always delicious!

It's been a while since I've been here, but the flavors make me feel like a kid again.
