I am not sure whats happening because the store isn't communicating well.
Ordered groceries online Wednesday for Thursday delivery. Didn't show. Chatted with support, claimed it was running late and would definitely arrive still. Didn't.
Store called Friday morning to apologize and say they'd deliver Friday. Didn't. I chatted again, they said call the store. I called, they said they couldn't help and I had to call online. I called online, they said they couldn't help needed to transfer to order resolutions. Order resolutions said they couldn't help, needed to get me elsewhere. They got me back to 1800 customer service.
That CS person called the store, store told them they wouldn't do anything. I called store, indicating I was even willing to drive and pickup my delivery order. They at first said they couldn't do anything. Then contacted their curbside to see if anything could be done.
Managers said, I could come in and deal in store, I said I would come and pickup if it was all put together, the CS person on the phone said they'd call me back when it was ready. The store is now closing in as long as it would take me to drive there. I still have no delivery, that I ordered on Wednesday.
No one has offered communication on what's happening, why it's delayed, and I'm stuck with $200 sitting in groceries that I can't pickup, without any transparency on what I can do to help in the situation or take over for the store.
People have been nice while I've talked with them, only reason for the 2 stars. It'll go down to 1 if this isn't resolved this weekend. And I would be shocked if anything happened that allowed me to be wowed enough to increase the stars.
This isn't the first time something has gone bad - Multiple delivery missed items in the past. I'm usually compensated after wasting time contacting online for the order issue. I have a still pending claim from when a delivery driver ran over my house address solar sign, and they've yet to contact me back after getting that claim started. These delivery situations are making me want to cancel my samsclub, get Costco, and drive 45 minutes there and back when I want groceries.
The appliance delivery was pretty good, though 3rd party service.

The website showed that it was “still in progress “ when I initially arrived at 2:10 p.m. After getting gas and shopping elsewhere, I arrived back at Sam’s at 3:30 and was told that it would be another 5-10 minutes before my items would be brought out to my car. At 4 o’clock, I called customer service as I was entering the store; it took them another 10 minutes to answer the phone before someone answered and she could not have cared less about what I was explaining, calmly, to her and stated that since I was already in the store that I could speak to the person handling the pickup area and she hung up. There were 3 people in the area where the pickup items are carted for pickup. None of them seemed to know what they were doing. It literally took 2 of them to sort through the back log of items to find my 3 items. Sadly, I was not the only customer to experience this catastrophe; several people went inside after sitting in the parking lot for half an hour or more. Clearly, Sam’s needs to hire more staff. I’m greatly disappointed after having been a member since they opened. I will be rethinking renewing...
Read moreMost trips to this Sam's Club is pretty painless. My husband and I were heading towards the door to have our receipt "checked". Surprisingly this day there were two people checking receipts. My husband was walking behind be pushing a big 'flat bed' cart. I notice a man practically on my back...I hand the Sam's Club worker my receipt first and this random man also hands her his receipt. I was a little baffled by this man being very rude and impatient, especially when there was a second person that could have assisted him. However, this lady was beyond confused. So I explained to her that I was not with this man, but I'm with him and then pointed to my husband with our cart. I don't think it would take a genius to connect the dots that I gave her my receipt first and was not with this strange man...so she very easily could have checked off my receipt and sent us on our way and then assisted . However, she continued to sit there in confusion. At this point I'm beyond frustrated, so I grab my receipt from her and move to the next worker. Even after I am walking out the door she continues to sit there in confusion not having a clue what...
