I ordered new couches from Bob's, and a dining room table. The first delivery was for the dining room table there was a broken chair that they rescheduled to replace they failed to show up on the date rescheduled with the proper chair they tried dropping off something I didn't order and then said I had to call customer service to get back on the schedule. The new chair didn't arrive on the date that we rescheduled for and I had to call customer service yet again to find out where it was. They finally rectified the chairs problem and then told me the rest of the furniture that I ordered was there, they never reached out to me to let me know that my order was in like they said they would. So I set up the new delivery of the new living room sets I ordered the Charleston sectional with two power recliners and a powered Chase. What I received was the sectional with one power recliner and a power Chase, when I called customer service they scheduled me to have that piece replaced on the 31st of March. Here it is the 31st of March and no furniture is being delivered I'm now being told the piece won't be available until June. I called customer care again and spoke with somebody who told me I could just keep the non-powered portion of the sectional, I then had to tell him no I won't keep the non-powered section I want what I paid for. The man also told me that the furniture might come on the 31st or sometime in June couldn't give me a solid answer. So today I went back to Bob's and told them that I want this fixed and they said the best we can do is sometime in June. I'm a firm believer that taking my time is like taking my money as you have to take time off of work to be there for deliveries that don't show. I've tried to figure out how Bob's can rectify the situation and they don't know. This company has decent furniture and horrible logistics, don't order furniture and believe that when they tell you that you'll have it in a week or two. They're constantly backordered and then when the furniture does come in if you don't call them you won't know so you won't get your furniture delivered, because by the time you do call them chances are they're out of stock again. Bob's has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had in my life, when it comes to customer service delivery deadlines and anything logistic. Read moreMy wife and I visited the Monroeville location in February and dealt with Hannah F as our sales rep. We should have realized from our interactions on that day that there would be nothing but trouble from this store, but we trusted Bobs as they have been reliable in the past. I have never encountered a salesperson so disinterested in making a sale, she knew very little about the products offered in the store and let us know several times that she did not want to assist us as she was “helping” a lady at the same time as us. Our order totaled over $6000 for the Hudson set, extra bureau, and mattress.
Fast forward to the delivery on March 12. The delivery driver informed me that 2 of the pieces they loaded were damaged, he had knowledge of this yet did nothing about it, bringing the damaged furniture anyways. The footboard box was missing the hardware and the front of the bureau was damaged. The driver proceeded to incorrectly re-order the pieces, ordering another headboard rather than the footboard.
March 22, redelivery day arrives and no footboard, I received another headboard. I call into customer support, they promise to over night the hardware that was missing in the original footboard box, and March 27 is set to deliver the bureau and finish assembly of the bed. March 27th arrives, no hardware from FedEx yet but the bureau arrives. I receive the FedEx box on the 28th, only it is empty. Someone literally assembled a box and printed a FedEx label to ship air from Connecticut to my house.
After many, many unfruitful calls into customer service, I am promised that all will be settled today, March 30. Bobs agreed to replace the entire bed, putting this nightmare behind us. The delivery driver called me at 9am to let me know they were on their way but they forgot the footboard. They claimed they were unable to turn around and get it.
So here I am, 18 days without a usable bed as we donated our old bed the morning of the original delivery. Each and every person I have spoken with has been apologetic yet none seem to be able to actually offer any type of action to rectify this situation. Yet another delivery has been scheduled for Wednesday April 4th. I have zero expectations that this delivery will be accurate and complete.

Read moreWe decided to go look for some furniture at several places. I decided to go look at the furniture the day before, and then my husband would join me the next day once I looked and found several pieces that I liked. The first place I went to was Bob’s discount furniture in Monroeville, Pennsylvania.
Upon entering the store. A very nice young man named Nate addressed me, asked me what I was looking for and how he could help me.
For such a young man, he really was hustling, showing me around talking to me about the Furniture. He really knew the products. I told him what I was looking for and what features I was looking for, and he steered me in the right direction.
I explained that I wanted to look at a few more stores and that if I didn’t see anything else than what he had showed me because I did really like a few pieces that my husband and I would be Next day
I went to the next few stores and the service was not even comparable , Sadly value city, furniture, and Ashley furniture I walked around by myself for a while before anybody attended to me in one of them, and in the other store, nobody asked me anything until 45 minutes later when I was walking out the door.
Needless to say, we returned to Bob’s discount store the next day asked for Nate, who was busy with another couple. He made sure that we saw him and he finished up with the people he was working with and then came over to us and assisted us in getting the furniture that we wanted.
Exceptional employee, personable, kind knowledgeable. He really shows the world what a young man should be. I don’t think he’s more than his mid 20s but such a hard worker he’s going to go very far in life.
