Poké Bar — Restaurant in Monrovia

My friend ordered his food while he was working and they told him it will be ready on 15 minutes so he called me to pick it up for him since he's grinding the streets. I arrived there 20 minutes and walked in and asked for his order by name. She said just a minute. She ask the person in line what he wanted and I asked her about my order she then tells me that they will make it after they help the people in line. I asked then why do you take phone orders if you're not going to get them done first. My friend only has a certain amount of time for dinner and not having it ready wasn't good and neither was her attitude. Yum! Poke Bar is so delicious and the customer service was amazing. I believe both guys working were the owners or mangers, they knew everything and told us what was good. They even have plant based tuna, which I ended up trying and I thought it was really good. I ordered tofu for my husband (he is vegan) and he loved all the sauces I chose with the help of one of the gentleman . To us the portions were more than enough, we both had medium bowls and ordered a small for our baby (which they let us customize since she is only 1 years old). Edit: Seems like the new management really turned things around. The rice had good texture, the seafood was fresh, and the employees were very friendly! Would definitely return since we love finding good Poke places near us! Very happy with our dinner :)

Original review: I was pretty disappointed with this place given the good reviews. The white rice had terrible texture and was just not good.
