There’s a place where I’ve come to believe in miracles, and it’s not in a church or a temple, but in a humble Thai restaurant. Every time I walk through those doors, I’m reminded of the blessings that life can bring, wrapped in the aroma of fresh herbs and spices.
The food here isn’t just delicious; it’s transcendent. The first time I tasted it, I knew it was special, but I had no idea just how much it would change my life.
I brought my father-in-law here one evening. He had been diagnosed with stage 2 brain cancer, and the doctors said he had maybe two years left. He was weak, his spirit broken, and his body frail. But something happened that night as we shared a meal at this restaurant. We laughed, we ate, and for a moment, we forgot about the illness.
Weeks turned into months, and those months into a year. My father-in-law started getting stronger. His hair, once thinning, began to grow back, and his body, which had been wasting away, began to gain strength. One day, he even showed me a six-pack forming on his stomach—a sight I never imagined I’d see.
But the most miraculous moment came when he looked at me, his eyes clear and bright, and spoke in perfect Thai—something he’d never done before. “I love you,” he said, his voice filled with warmth and gratitude. In that moment, I knew that this wasn’t just about the food. It was about the love, the care, and the life we shared in that small restaurant.
Now, every time I come back, I’m reminded of the miracle that happened there—the blessing that is Thai food, and the strength it gave my father-in-law to keep fighting. And for that, I will...
Read moreI came to Thai Thyme for the first time this past Sunday and was just blown away. I was so impressed with the food! The food was so tasty and fresh. The vegetables were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Chef and owner Thai came to our table and told us about his food and about his love and passion for cooking that started when he was a young kid. He shared his journey that brought him here to opening this beautiful restaurant with the help of his beautiful wife. His wife always encouraged him to share his talent with everyone from her yoga friends, friends, and now all of us. She is absolutely lovely and also is working here. Wow he sure has a great eye and a natural talent for interior decorating too! This place is so beautiful with great energy flowing throughout it. Thai is so friendly and so humble. I feel like he treated us like family with such warmth. I was super impressed to know that he doesn’t use oil when he cooks. He uses a wok and cooks his meat at 450 degrees so the only oil in this food is the oil from the meat itself. I’m so happy my friend Nichole chose to eat here because it was the best Thai food I ever had and the best experience I have had eating at...
Read moreWe came to Thai Thyme to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and everything about the experience was wonderful from start to finish. Our table was ready when we arrived, complete with a personalized sign—such a thoughtful touch!
The owner greeted us warmly and was incredibly passionate about the food. He took the time to explain the recommended dishes and even offered to take our group photo while the lighting was still perfect before sunset. That level of care really stood out.
We ordered:
Grilled Eggplant Salad – The dressing was bright and appetizing, with a perfect balance of sweet and sour. Massaman Curry with Tofu – Rich, thick, and hearty. Absolutely delicious! Vegan Chicken Pad Thai – The owner explained how the vegan chicken was made, and it did not disappoint. Great texture and flavor. Jasmine Rice on the side – fluffy and fragrant. Coconut Cake – A divine way to end the meal. Made with all-natural, healthy ingredients, it was light yet indulgent. The service was attentive and friendly throughout the evening. We left with happy tummies and even happier hearts, grateful for good food and great company.
Highly recommend Thai Thyme for any special occasion—or...
