Golden Chinese Gourmet — Restaurant in Montclair

This place used to be good but like everything else in Montclair this place went down as well. I placed a pick up order on the web page ( I DO NOT RECOMMEND) ordered $63 worth of food and had to pay and additional $12 for changing white rice to chicken fried rice, I knew there would be additional charge for that change but that was the price of the meal with white rice 😒. Also the dish that was ordered with white rice got pork fried rice which was not ordered. I reached out to the restaurant via phone was told by the person who answered ( the manager) that the manager would contact me in a few minutes because they had to keep the phone line open. After over an hour wait, I decided that I'd be better off not EVER ordering from them again. My business may not be missed but I needed to at least let others know what to expect from this business. Not the worst chinese food place, but definitely not the best. General Tso chicken is OK, and probably the only dish I'd order. Chinese wontons are below average. Vegetable lo mein was burnt. Tofu dishes are absolutely bland and poorly put together. They don't deliver and have no tables for dining in (they only have benches). The decoration is lacking and the overall place feels dirty.
