There is no better place than Ascend Physical Therapy. I started seeing Lisa for back issues, then on to therapy after my broken ankle, then back surgery and ending with a broken elbow. I have been to two other therapy centers and I always felt like I was in a factory. With Ascend, it is personal attention. Lisa discovered things that even the doctors didn't pick up -- i.e., my one leg is longer than the other which sets my whole spine off. Patty has the place running like clockwork. Her scheduling is perfect, you never have to wait, and she deals with all the insurance company mess. And you are always greeted with a smile. I worked with Lisa over a couple of months to address back and hip issues that were causing pain and impacting my mobility and quality of life. Both Lisa and Patty checked in with me at the beginning of each visit to gauge my progress and to identify areas that we could work on during that visit. The staff at ASCEND is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and professional and helped me understand why I was feeling pain as well as identifying exercises that could help increase my strength and flexibility so I would feel less pain. Just a quick shout out to the excellent folks at Ascend! I had a hip replacement in March and after my initial PT ended I thought I could get myself the rest of the way on my own. When I realized I couldn’t do it on my own, I found my way to Ascend and they put me on a progressive program that was highly effective in helping me get back to that 100% goal that was proving very stubborn to get to. Lisa and Patti are great and every aspect of my experience there was a total pleasure. Bonus points for proactively suggesting I’d reached a point where I truly was able to get there on my own.
