Hands down, Jack’s is one of the best seafood restaurants in Northern NJ. I’ve been enjoying their food for years now and recently tried their catering menu. The ordering processes was smooth and simple, and I couldn’t have been happier with the results. The lobster rolls were the hit of our party! They were stuffed with lobster and each one was consistently perfect. Well worth the price! And the mini crab cakes and fried shrimp were to die for. And I’ll let you in on a little secret—Jack’s also makes the best homemade potato chips. People are still talking about the food two weeks later! Oh and the best part—it was delivered on time and in the most professional manner. Next time I have a party, I’ll be calling Jack’s to cater it. Now, in addition to the catering menu, you must, must, must try their lobster bisque and New England clam chowder. The best soups outside of the Boston area I’ve ever had. And the fish & chips are amazing. Whether it’s Door Dash or in person, Jack’s does not disappoint!

I was and am truly taken away with the way this place dedicates itself to the quality of food it provides and at the price. My family and I ordered fried calamari, lobster fritters, and both lobster bisque and new england clam chowder as the appetizers; and goodness it was amazing. To be quite frank, it really was just enough for the night since we had more than enough leftovers by the end of the dinner. Aside from the food, the attention that's given to you from the waiters/waitresses is really on point to cover anything you need/will need. Now for the 4 stars, the reason why I didn't hit the 5 stars was because of the lobster bisque. I've never had the issue of having a spicy lobster bisque in my life, let alone having really spicy soup in general. It was a let down since it was chilly out and was expecting more of a hot, comforting soup than a rather obnoxiously spicy one. Aside from that, every detail was on point and really breathtaking.

It's not cheap, but my family and I were super pleased with our seafood at Jack's. As an oyster lover, I chose the Oyster Po'boy with salad and coleslaw for lunch. The roll it was on was amazing, even if the tomato was out of season. The pickles were fantastic, though, and made up for it. My wife had a blackened grouper sandwich with salad and slaw. The fish was fantastic; all three of us were impressed. The 13 year old went with a lobster grilled cheese sandwich with handmade potato chips as his side instead of the sensible salad his parents choose. He made the right decision, because the chips were great. The sandwich was also very good, and really packed with a lot of meat. It was impressive. The staff was very friendly and even showed off the live lobsters to done children from another table. I'd love to go back and try Jack's for dinner another time. Check it out.

During my stay in New Jersey, i visited Jack's Surf and Turf on a friend's recommendation, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience! The food was absolutely incredible – fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. The service was equally fantastic, with the staff and the owner being super friendly and welcoming. It truly made my visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend checking out this place - I’ll definitely be back on my next visit.
