I used to love McDonald's, I mean LOVE It. was a treat to go there when I was growing up. It may have been the 3rd franchise to open in the small town I lived in growing up in MI. But as of, actually I not quite sure when it started to turn, probably after they changed the menu. When the pies were fried right there at the restaurant. They were boiling + hot, but really really tasty. (But really really bad for you)it wasn't like today with tiny little apple baked good. The last cheeseburger I had might of well have been a grilled cheese sandwich. The meat patty was so small and thin, you couldnt even see it in the bun. The fries? I think they were from yesterday's lunch. They always seem to be soggy and not cooked all the way. Mc Donald's always had the best fries, no more. If their not soggy then they are cold and stiff. Shakes/ice cream? Does the machine work yet?!?!?!? What the heck happened to the $1 menu? GONE!!!! it takes half a paycheck to pay for for food for the family. Think about it, if it costs 2 people to eat 2 meals totals $35.00. just think if you have kids. Is the prize in the Happy meal really worth that much? I wouldn't spend that much on what McDonald's is serving today at all. Unfortunately,I lost my love for McDonald recently. I refuse to eat there. I mean all I tasted when eating my cheeseburger was bread, cheese, ketchup a pickle, and a bit of mustard no meat at all and when I looked in the bun, that patty was so flat and thin there was no point of putting it on the bun. And now with all the prices rising we are paying more for smaller portions of food.. The only good things at McDonalds anymore is their Coke and Coffee.

The upper management team here is terrible, causing managers to suffer by significantly reducing the number of employees. As a result, managers end up doing the work of 4-5 people alone. Upper management expects managers to run shifts smoothly and meet earnings targets, which is highly unrealistic.
One supervisor, known as Zuma, is an older lady who constantly seeks compliments from employees and lectures them about the high cost of operating machines. However, employees are not responsible for these costs; it's the employer's responsibility. She also tends to nag a lot, and it's unclear where she gained her micromanagement experience.
Another individual is Jasmine, an HR representative who ignores messages when issues are raised. She claims to "investigate" matters, such as a case of sexual harassment involving a gay employee. I spared her job by not escalating the issue, even though I despise upper management. So, don't badmouth me—I saved your job via a text on Instagram.
Luis, another supervisor, has anger issues at times, especially when he messes up with wire cords. However, I prefer him over Zuma, who never seems to know when to be quiet. The store manager, Jorge, tends to guilt-trip people to get his way, but overall, he's a good manager. He understands people and dislikes certain directives from upper management, but he has a family to support.
If you're considering working here as a new employee, think twice. They barely give you any hours. As long as those two people in upper management don't badmouth me, things...

It was fairly busy when I arrived at 10:57 a.m. to pick up a Doordash order.
However, I was told they didn't have it.
I contacted Doordash Support and was instructed to place order
I notified customer of situation. She thanked me for the update.
When I went to place order the employee in the front asked for the Order Number.
I was told it had been received and order would be completed.
It turned out to be a very long wait and notified customer again.
During my wait I observed the employees in the front and back appear to move rather slow despite the fact the Manager was working alongside them.
I also observed and heard an employee totally dismiss a customer who had walked in and asked if anyone was taking orders since there was nobody in the front.
The employee replied she was on her break and proceeded to walk past into the back of restaurant.
It appeared employee was part of Management by their uniform.
The customer got visibly upset and walked out.
Totally unacceptable.
I would not have the blamed the customer if she would have asked for the Manager.
But she didn't.
If a Mystery Shopper would have seen and heard all of this they would have given this location a very low score.
In total I waited 29 minutes!
I proceeded to deliver order.
Customer was not upset and very understanding.
I would hesitate to return to this...
