Five Below — Local services in Montclair

Okay for a variety store. If I had to estimate or get a guesstimate I have to even describe the store, there's things everywhere everything is "$5.⁰⁰" or less. This variety store is a cross between a Dollar tree that's less messy, and CVS. But interestingly enough there is almost like the slightest hint of a Sensors store feeling at the back of the store because you can find some really cool funky shirts and my fiance loves "certain products at the wall art the very back", so take that for what it is that's all I'll say about that LOL. Plus they have some interestingly cheaply marketable electronics if you want to go cheap. Other than that, Five Below is a great place for the kiddos, there's a lot of candy and shoes and toys and shirts and hats, that are like I said....$5.⁰⁰ and you guessed it... Below! LOL. Cheap and cheerful is key here...

Sadly I have to give this store only 1 star. I loved shopping here before, the atmosphere was always fun and everyone was so friendly. The store was always so neat and easy to find what you were looking for and not looking for. The managers were always so helpful. Then they got self check out machines, and I hated them. The associates were always helpful when I needed help checking out or had a question. The last time I was in this store was around Christmas time, and sadly, that was the last time I had a great experience here. I went into the store last week, and Boy, was it a mess! The associates or managers there were too busy on their phone. No one bothered to welcome us. The associates at the registers just stood their talking. Sadly, I can tell it's new management. Unfortunately I won't be shopping here...

Reminds me of a more organized 99cent store...everyone is always talking about how good this store is that I needed to go because they have everything, so finally went and I was more impressed on how organized and clean it was. Obviously everything is super cheap didn't really get anything just bought some pink plastic slides ($5) to roam around the house. Everything is not $5 and below, also have a self checkout which was surprisingly weird but convenient for a cheap store. They had a bunch of employees standing around watching you shop and cameras everywhere so I'm guessing people steal a lot. This was more of like a store you take your kids to so they can pick out a toy or something...
