Had a late lunch here before taking whale watching tour. We had the fish and chips (if my memory serves me right, it was $8.5, which is quite okay considering the touristic nature), which was fresh albeit a bit too oily to our liking. Perhaps we expect too much for an eatery that is located right next to a fishery center. After back from the tour, we came back to grab a cup of clam chowder. That time around it was a hit - the savory, warm, and creamy chowder fit extremely well with the cold late autumn evening weather.
A bit off topic, the poster in the eatery cracked us up - I can get small kids like kittens, but...
Read moreI wish I could give them no stars. The service was horrible, only to be matched by even "worse" food! Hands down the most worst place to eat, or to go to for anything. The clam chowder was sour (in a bad way) and the fish and chips where extremely greasy. I threw my food away with 3 other customer's immediately throwing theirs away complaining of the same thing.
