Wanted to get a simple churro sundae but the employee Taryn/ “marco” was so lazy to make it he made it seem that they only had ice cream sundaes but when I turned around there was a clear picture of a churro sundae so we asked him to have churro sundae instead I guess that bothered him because he had a smirk on he’s face and shock his head and asked us anymore changes with a unprofessional tone he made us feel like he was buying the sundae for us!! While visiting the area, we saw a sign for homemade ice cream at Monterey Bay Creamery and just had to stop by and try it. We ordered the coffee ice cream, and I must admit, it was out of this world! The flavor was rich and perfectly balanced, making it one of the best ice creams I've ever had.

We ordered two scoops for more than $8 so I would say definitely on the expensive side given it’s not really gelato. The price premium has to do with the location right on the Monterey pier.

We had the banana cream and chocolate peanut butter. Both are pretty good. We noticed they melt a bit faster than average ice cream in a chilly afternoon (low 60s).
