We were traveling so we stopped by to grab a bite to eat. We arrived and it was open for dining which was great. There was no one in line inside the store and there were only a couple of cars in the drive thru. We ordered chicken to go. After ordering we were told it would be a 7 minute wait. Having already paid we waited and waited and waited and waited. Interestingly some guy from corporate was there evaluating the store. It sounded like he had a good experience. We listened to him review the restaurant while we waited. Kind of hard not to hear when you are the only ones in the place. 17 minutes later our chicken came and we left. Not sure if the corporate guy was paying attention to our long wait or not, or to the car waiting for their order outside. I assume not. Maybe instead of simply ordering food as a test of the service provided by the restaurant corporate should pay attention to the experience others have there as well. I would not have written this review based solely on the length of time we waited. My reason for writing it is because the order we received came out wrong. We didn't realize it until we had left. Instead of an 8 piece mixed box we got an 8 piece dark meat only. Crazy how you make someone wait twice as long as you say and then get the order wrong. In addition, we were waiting long before the car outside showed up was asked to wait and they decided to serve them first. It was obvious they were waiting in the same chicken to be cooked. Finally the chicken here does not have the flavor you will find at other Bojangles. Experiences like this one make you shy away from stopping even when you have had a good experience at...
Read morePoor service, employees were not polite. I ordered two Cajun filet biscuit combos. Sierra Mist and Dr. Pepper with Bo-rounds. I pulled up to the window and wasn't acknowledged for about 5 or so min. when she did come to the window, she blurted out the total. Somehow there was a miscommunication and I ended up with ro-rounds and cajun fries. (I was charged for both) not a big deal. no complaints. I left while my wife checked the order. We noticed they didn't give us our drinks. I went inside and there weren't any customer's inside, no-one. there were about 10 employees. It only took a moment to be acknowledged this time. She handed me the drinks. no apology. I ended up going in a second time(forgot straws) I got home, the french fries (which I didn't order, but paid for) were at least 4hours old. They were warm, but hard and shriveled. The chicken was great(naturally) the biscuit was ok, not the normal great. The bo-rounds were soggy. VERY unfortunate, as this is my #1 reason of going. The sierra mist was only carbonation. So for $15 I got two fried pieces of chicken and a Dr. Pepper. stale fries, soggy hashbrowns, syrup-less sierra mist, and two old biscuits. No welcome, no smile, no apology. This really kills me because I LOVE their food. GET WITH IT.
I will add it was 9ish on a...
Read moreI’m surprised surprised Bo jangles is still in business. Every time I go I try to adjust my expectations to set the lowest bar I can imagine but they still fail to meet it every time. We went to this bojangles around 10:40 am on 12/22/22 and the food was cold. We ordered lunch so we expected it to be fresh because lunch hours had literally just started but we could have gotten warmer food at cold stone creamery or baskin robins in Antarctica. They no longer serve cheerwine, which was a major factor in deciding to go to bojangles. Also, I was finally able to try their “improved”, new chicken sandwich since my last review. Their chicken sandwich had a very small piece of chicken and it was cold. They are at the bottom of the list of best chicken sandwiches. The absolute worst chicken sandwich that I’ve had is the new one from McDonald’s and then this one. The top of the list is still popeyes and coincidentally this location is right next to a popeyes so you can save your money, your taste, and your dignity and get better chicken right next door. Don’t go here! Let them fail along with their poor corporate management because I’m sure they won’t compensate their customers for these poor experiences because they...
