My family and I visited this store on 12/16/22. We ordered our food at the drive thru b/c that was the only option available. This all occurred on a Friday evening around 6pm. The cashier took our ordered and confirmed it again at the window before taking the payment. Our food total came up to $49.80. In literally seconds the cashier came back to us and stated they should could not complete our order b/c she could not sell us a 10pc all thighs after telling us earlier she could. Well no problem what are our other options? Since we didn't want any of those options we just asked for a refund. Then the manager steps in and he was the absolute worst manager EVER. With a hostile attitude, he says sorry but we don't do refunds. So I proceed to explain I understand your policy but in this situation you're not able to serve us so yes, you will give us our refund if you can't accommodate our order. He slams the drive thru window and walk away after saying he would not give us our money back. I at that time while sitting in drive thru call the corporate office to file a complaint. Customer service entered a complaint. At that time the manager returns back to the window with bag of stuff (none of the things we ordered) and says now you all need to leave b/c you're holding up my line and I'm going to call the police. That actually would have been preferred but that is not what happened. Customer service did witness his rudeness and unprofessionalism. Before ending my call, I did request a return call back from corporate but to date I have not seen an email or gotten return call so I can't be sure that the information was even reported. A manager represents the franchise and it is bad judgement on the company if he still allowed to be employed after this incident. He was too comfortable in behaving this way so I'm pretty sure this was not his first time. I would call him by name but the coward refused to tell us that and he did remove his name tag. Rest assure I would never patronize another Popeye's franchise again. The money is gone but the treatment is not. Customers choose wisely, I recommend Chick-fil-A the customer service...
Read moreI went into Popeyes for a simple order of spicy chicken and Tenders . I was told that there was no spicy chicken ready only breast and that it will be a 15 minute wait. I agreed to wait the 15 minutes for the spicy chicken . While we are waiting the workers are playing music , making Tic Toks while there is a backed up drive thru line , not sure if they were operating a Popeyes or after school program . I walked up to the register and asked one of the two managers for a refund after waiting almost 30 minutes and not even being told an update . When she made an attempt to fix to food , the cook wasn’t even told that he had customers waiting on spicy chicken so we waited for nothing . 30 minutes wasted . The cashier was told by the manager to fix my food because I said that I was fine with just the breast chicken pieces since we had waited so long . The cashier began fixing my food and asked the other worker , “what side” . So I said “fries” and she turned her head around and rolled her eyes . I asked her what she was rolling her eyes at and she threw down the food and said “now I’m not fixing your food” we went back and forth until I asked for the manager that was standing there the entire time . She fixed our food and we went on our way . From another customer coming in saying that she was never given her credit card back , to the backed up line in the drive thru, the iPad at one of the tables dirty ,to the worker mopping the floor while food is being prepared and the non existent customer service . Yall are better off starting over from the top down and do a sweep on this location and how it’s being operated . Run a food establishment instead of a afterschool program and there wouldn’t be any problems . It seems like Mike the cook is the only one working and doing his job while...
Read moreChose to go here over the Ann St location, when the boulevard location was closed. I figured you would get better service in Eastchase compared to Ann St. WRONG!!!! The service was rude from the get-go. No, hey how may I help you or anything. Just a "Are you ready to order" Right when we started to order the manager rudely went in front of the cashier, I'm assuming to charge a credit card for the drive thru. Didn't even look at us and smiled or anything. The look on ALL of their faces looked like they hate their job. Once she was done my friend placed her order, then the cashier walked away to the back. A few minutes later she looks at me from the back and asks, "Oh did you need to order". After both of our orders were finally placed, we watched another employee stand behind the warmer where they keep chicken, lay fries out on the counter and starts eating her fries off the counter where they keep the food. Nobody was wearing any gloves dealing with the food. Oh, it gets better, then a cook walks around from the corner with his pants below his butt where you can clearly see his weed printed boxers. It was quite incredible to witness none the less. We get our food, the chicken in my wrap was cold and the size of my pinky finger. And the cook with his a$$ hanging all out, comes and just hangs out in the waiting area watching tv with volume turned up on his cell phone. Something I would expect at the Ann St location, so next time I know to just go there instead of wasting gas to go to Eastchase. This was Wednesday June 4th at 11 AM. Make sure you stay away...
