After living in another state for over two years, on my first morning back, I went to this store. I ordered a large hazelnut iced coffee, with Splenda and extra cream, an everything bagel, with two containers of garden vegetable cream cheese. They made my coffee hot. When I told the staff, she then went and brought my iced coffee, no Splenda and no hazelnut flavor. My bagel was a plain bagel and hard as a rock. And only one container of cream cheese. I have no idea what I was charged for, since i wasn't offered a receipt. I wanted to ask for it, but the worker was abrupt and had an unpleasant demeanor. Very disappointing first morning back in Montgomery.
Tried this place again. Had to repeat a simple order of iced coffee three times. Had to request a pup cup and a blueberry donut order twice as well. And I ordered the loaded hashbrowns this time, which was terrible. The bacon in it was half cooked. Now this might be due to how the chain itself has it prepared. And I had to remind the employee to hand me my coffee after she told me to have a good day. I have lived on the West coast for a few years and there are very very few Dunkin's there and those are in California. And having spend years in New England, I love my Dunkins. What bothers me is why be unfriendly to a customer to the point I was uncomfortable asking for a small cup of water for my dog who was in the car with me. I dont care that I was charged for it, but I cannot believe how unfriendly this employee was as well. I will not be coming back to this location again. I will drive out of my way to spend my money at...
Read moreAs I parked my car, I noticed an employee out in front of the store talking with some people. I went into the store and went in the back to use the restroom. There were a few people waiting in the dining room for a friend that had not gotten the order.
Once I got to the counter, I was the only person in the dining room. The employee that was outside came back into the store, walked right past me without even acknowledging that I was there, and asked the other 2 employees "you alright?". They answered that they were.
I stood there for a minute or so when another customer came into the store. Nobody noticed her, either. We stood around for a minute or so, when I turned around to see if she was as dumfounded as me. She asked if I had ordered already, and I told her that I had not. She left the store.
I stood there for several more minutes waiting and nobody had even looked at me, let alone told me they would be taking my order. I finally leaned over the counter and looked at an employee, and she saw me. "I'll be right with you".
I ordered 2 donuts and a large ice coffee. She asked if I wanted any flavor in the coffee. I said "no, just half-and-half". She brought out the donuts and a black coffee. I asked her "do you have any half-and-half?"
It turns out, she thought I meant "half coffee and half decaf!". She ended up showing me that they had some "light cream" in small containers, so I took that and left the store. The donuts and coffee were fine, but the entire ordeal was like 10 minutes and should have been 1 or 2.
Customer service needs to be...
Read moreToday I got up to the order box and nobody says a thing. A couple of minutes go by and I ask hello. Someone says it will just be a moment. I say okay. Then five minutes or so go by. By now there are lots of cars behind me. I ask hello again. They say it will be just one moment again. I then wait a couple of more minutes and ask how much longer it will take since my toddler is losing her patience. My toddler is in the backseat crying loudly by this point. They then tell me it will be a long time and they are having an issue with their system. They tell me I can circle back around or leave. I just left. Which was difficult to do because the car behind me I guess thought I was the problem and moved up as soon as I attempted to make the turn to leave. All I wanted was an iced latte. I’m thinking they more than likely lied and it was not a system issue since this seems to be happening to other people. I am over this location. I get that it’s hard to get good employees these days, but this is not how you run a business. What a waste of almost thirty minutes that I did not have. And I got nothing out of it. Any business that wastes my time is one I will never...
