We came in with high hopes and were genuinely excited to try a new spot, but that excitement quickly faded the moment we walked in. My husband and I stood at the door for several minutes waiting to be seated. That part was fine, but then we were just told to “pick a seat.” Once we sat down, we waited another 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us, and it took a full 10 minutes to get our menus and drinks. Looking around, we noticed several other tables who had been seated before us and still hadn’t been greeted or given menus either. Our server never introduced herself, she simply walked up and said, “What can I get for you?” We let her know we needed a few minutes since it was our first time there, and she just walked off without another word. When she finally returned 10 minutes later, we placed our order. Unfortunately, my food came out wrong. I had asked for the yolks to be fully cooked and requested turkey sausage instead of bacon. I politely sent it back. The woman who brought the food (not our server) seemed visibly annoyed when I spoke up about the issue. By the time my husband was halfway through his meal, I still hadn’t received mine. Our server finally came by to ask how things were, and it was only then she noticed I hadn’t gotten my food. I explained what had happened. A few minutes later, my plate arrived, but it was clear they had just slapped it back on the grill… the egg was overcooked with a tough crust from being reheated, and they had simply removed the bacon and tossed on turkey sausage instead. Unfortunately, the bacon grease was still all over everything. I couldn’t even finish the meal because the egg was so rubbery and greasy. After we were done, we sat for another 15 minutes before anyone brought the check (we had to ask for it because it obviously wasn’t going to come without asking) even though our server walked past us several times seeing our plates stacked out of the way. Overall, the staff seemed disorganized, untrained, and lacking professionalism. We overheard the manager apologizing to multiple tables and trying to fix errors on their bills. Read moreyesterday morning my boyfriend and i came in for breakfast, and the experience was honestly disappointing. when we walked in, no one came up to greet us. instead, someone from the bar just yelled “hi welcome in, you can sit wherever.” it was strange and unprofessional since she didn’t even look up from her phone, and my boyfriend couldn’t even tell who said it or what was being said. i only knew because another guest came in right after us and got the same treatment.
we sat down and waited for about 10 minutes, but no one came to our table, no menus, no drinks, nothing. what made it worse is that the person who came in right after us did get service. it’s not like we were sitting out of the way either; there were plenty of servers walking around, and several just standing around on their phones.
after waiting and being ignored, we decided to leave. on our way out, the same lady who barely acknowledged us at the start just said, “bye, thank you!” without realizing we were leaving because we never even got service. i tried to find a manager to talk to, but no one seemed to notice or care.

Read moreHanz, you need a host that will stay up at the front. I watched hundreds of dollars walk in and out while we waited because no one was up there to seat them or put them on a list. You also either need a food runner, or a busser, or both, for the weekend breakfast rushes. The place is too small to have everyone in the weeds like they were when I visited and you're clearly short-staffed. The food was great, so it was worth it all. Get rid of the pillows on the bench so more people can sit down, and make sure the host is actually directing them to go sit over there or else they're piling up blocking your door.
