I really do love the taste of jets pizza but I after last night I won't be back. I looked on the phone for pizza restaurants open at 845 and it showed this location was open until 10 . So I payed for a pizza for pickup. When I went 20 minutes earlier to pick it up , the restraint was closed . The lights off a d doors locked . I saw a lady walking around and she saw me but ignored me . I could see my pizza in the warmer, so taped on the window to get her attention. After about 10 minutes of waiting she came to the door and was really rude .she said we are closed, I kindly explained that we ordered a pizza and paid for it , she said we are closing at 9. I explained again that my pizza was in the warmer and I paid and drove to pick it up. It was not until I said you need to refund my purchase If If I can't get it. This review is also not a reflection of the quality of the pizza (which we find to be quite delicious), but rather customer service. Some colleagues and I ordered from this location earlier today and received a delivery confirmation email (number #12034979) with a estimated delivery time of 11:01am. Our pizza was never delivered. No call, no show. We eat on a strict timetable and only have a half hour for lunch. When we called to inquire about the status of our order we were told that they could "put the order in for us," but our lunch time had already passed. We were hoping to make Jet's Pizza a weekly order on Fridays. Read moreThe Detroit pizza is amazing but what was even better was the service I received from Tracie P. I told her it was my first time there and she was excited about that and walked out from around the counter to walk me through the menu on the wall. Most people these days could care less about helping out and being kind. She helped me place my order in a way that saved me a couple of bucks- the right way a sale should be wrapped up if a first time guest doesn't know the details of the menu and its prices. I wanted to tip but she said she could not accept it. I hope she gets enough good reviews that it impacts her next review and hourly pay increase. She deserves it.
