My visit was a complete disappointment. I got my usual two-step and received it without the whipped cream and nuts. When I asked the waitress about the whipped cream and nuts she told me "the two-step doesn't come with whipped cream and nuts, only the sundaes do." She did kindly go back and put the whipped cream and nuts on it with absolutely no care whatsoever. I got maybe a tablespoon of whipped cream that was thrown on one side and some nuts also thrown on the side. I felt she did this out of spite. If I remember correctly each scoop of ice cream gets a nice dollop of whipped cream and nuts sprinkled on top. The main reason I get the two-step is because of the whipped cream. So I was quite disappointed with how I had to ask for it and it was almost non-existent. Maybe I am in the wrong and maybe the menu has changed and I'm completely unaware. But I do remember in the past getting whipped cream and nuts...
Read moreOne of our favorite sweet-treat places. In Cincinnati we famously have Graeter's Ice Cream which has delicious craft/small batch ice cream and candies, but they've grown a lot (good on them) and have lost some of that intimacy you'll find at Aglamesis. They have a seasonal handcrafted flavors often very unique from the big batch brands. While we live near and love us some Graeter's, this day we wanted to treat our daughter to something special and drove past onto Aglamesis. I especially love their Pistachio ice cream, very generous with the nuts, not just a few per scoop. We also picked up chocolate covered Oreos and I think there was more chocolate than Oreo!
As always, we will be back. Definitely...

That’s how we stumbled upon Agalmesis Brothers ice cream shop. Now the part that struck me the most was history! This place has been around since 1908. They’ve got the history shared on the walls. You see the history in the space with the way the ice cream dishes are set up and the way you order. It is absolutely gorgeous. It adds to the beauty of the ice cream. We got the fruit salad sundae. The sundae was incredible with creamy vanilla ice cream with different syrups and a banana. My mouth is watering thinking of the space. This was the ice cream I wish I could...
