Mudears Kitchen — Restaurant in Montgomery

I’ve been coming to Mudears Kitchen for lunch for the past few months, and every time I leave full and satisfied. Today, I stopped by for breakfast for the first time—and it just confirmed everything I already felt about this place. I love it here. The food is consistently top-tier. Seasoned right, cooked fresh, always hot, and always made with care. It honestly reminds me of home-cooked meals I grew up on. That kind of comfort is rare to find when eating out.

But what really separates Mudears from everywhere else in Montgomery is the service. It’s truly exceptional. Every single staff member I’ve encountered has been friendly, welcoming, and genuinely caring. They make you like you’re not just another customer. And in a city where great customer service normally a miss, Mudears gets it right every single time.

The prices are a little on the higher side, but honestly, I don’t mind paying it. The food is worth it, the portions are generous, and the service is unmatched. It’s one of the few places I don’t even hesitate to come back to again and again.

This is a local dive inside the strip mall behind Liberty Gas station. It shares space inside with the Subway. Nothing fancy. Clearly the locals know this place as they come for take out and eat in.

Here you will find southern cooking served at the counter. Ribs, very crispy catfish, fried chicken. Southern sides too. Such as Lima beans and corn bread dressing.
