Waffle House — Restaurant in Montgomery

I frequently eat at the Waffle House I travel around the country often.. There is a waffle at every country town in between major cities. They are conveniently stationed to get in... get a quick meal and be on your way. I give this particular Waffle House south of Montgomery AL. 3 stars. The waitress was very friendly and a conversationalist, she took our orders very well. When we received the food everything was hot. The waffles were just right. I ran across an issue I've never encountered at any Wafflw House I've eaten at before. The syrup was different... It didn't match the sweet and savory combination usually embraced by a wafgle made by Waffle House. I was shocked, stunned and merely hurt. I didn't jump to conclusions I ate paid the waitress and went on my way. I was so shocked I couldn't ask any questions at this point. After getting 50 miles down the road. I asked my wife who sat at a different table with the other half of the kids and I was with a half, did you notice a difference with your food. As I Ked the question I didn't focus on an specific topic of food I wanted to see what she says and if I were overreacting or my tastebuds were off. And she said it... she said my syrup had a different flavor than usual. I was like ah-ha, ah-ha! I new it. I don't know if it were a syrup shortage or if anyone else had the same experience but I hope never to have that...

First I tried calling in my order and they told me they don’t take orders over the phone that’s over $25 due to people making big orders and not picking them up which I understand. I don’t live down the street I live 25 minutes away. Once I get there I put in my order which was a big order but I had it wrote down so it was easy to follow. Once my order was done I pay for it and went to start checking my order the lady said you don’t have to check it I made sure everything is in there so I was like ok grab my stuff and left. Once I get home I start giving everyone their food and I noticed I still had food missing. I tried calling the restaurant to inform them my food was missing and since it’s after 12 the phones have been sent to an automated message you can’t speak to anyone. I am very upset that I never received my fiesta omelet meal a whole meal was not in there not just one item a whole meal. I paid $68.75 and didn’t get all my food I live over 25 minutes away it will cost me more in gas to go back up there than what the meal cost. But I am not happy because that was my food everyone else got there’s...

THIS WAFFLE HOUSE #1430 was 10000% by far the BEST most delicious and satisfying waffle house experience my mom & I have ever had, and we do love us some WH (even the more unpleasant ones). we went at 2am after our plane landed at MGM. Jessie was our server and also kept that store on LOCK! She was juggling multiple customers with multiple requests and making sure everyone was taken care of. I didn’t get the girl cooking’s name but she made THE BEST WH we have ever had and they were the only 2 employees there. Jessie definitely has great management skills and knows how to balance out great customer service with making sure people aren’t stepping out of bounds (there were some shady dudes lurking around but she shut them down and they were gone). Store was also super clean, not freezing cold, bathrooms were super clean. LOL just wrote a whole essay on how rad this particular waffle house experience was, so, you know it’s real….11/10 stars.
