Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Montgomery

Food was not good, service was even worse. The lady checking us out forgot to add an extra side that was just about a dollar and had me reswipe my card again just to pay for it and insisted I do so. As to not be a jerk I just payed it, even though it was no fault of my own that she forgot to add it, so I payed my bill and took my receipt survey that came with it. I let them know I was mildly upset with the fact that I had to swipe my card again and about four hours later I got a very rude call from the store owner. He was upset about the very honest survey I sent in and was yelling at me over the phone saying that it was my fault that I was Inconvinienced and that I had no right to give him a bad survey because it was all my fault. This guy litteraly called me to yell at me about a bad survey I sent in to his store because of his employees fault. I told him I wasn't worried about my money nor was I asking for it back, I was just asking that he let his staff no that if they make a mistake in the checkout process that it is not my job to waste more time fixing it and he disagreed and also blamed that issue on me. I asked him several times if he thought a dollar and sixty cents was worth losing my business over, I asked him five times in fact, and he seemed pretty certain to maintain his rude face to an already upset customer. After a 10 or 15 minute angry phone conversation that could have been completely avoided had he just apologized for the inconvenience (which not one of his staff members did and he was also at the counter when I was) I told him that he had lost my business for good and that he had ruined the salsarita's name for me for good. I wrote a letter to corporate salsarita's the following day and vowed never to do business with them again. This was just about the worst level of service I've had at a restaurant period, it was lower than a McDonald's level of service and about 5 times the price. They will never get my money again and I suggest that you don't give them...

The food is good but the service is shabby. The owner, a gentleman, really makes it hard to dine here because he is rude and VERY unfriendly. We rarely visit because of him but we used to tell people about this place quite often. Initially I assumed we were simply catching him on a bad day but after having the same experience multiple times while being served by him, I think it's safe to say it's just him. However, he does have a few great staff members. Truth be told, he is the only rude person there and that's pretty sad because he's the owner. There has been one occasion where the guy serving us, not the owner, was just as rude as the owner and pressed for time there was no choosing another place to eat. All-in-all I no longer suggest this place to anyone because the owner is rude, and though we are MAJOR supporters of eat/buy local this location can close tomorrow and I'll be fine because if I never visit this restaurant again, it'll be too soon (yes, I said it). Yes, it'll suck, and I'm sorry because making a living is important but customer service makes for repeat customers and after several tries I give up trying. I'll travel an extra 30 minutes to a store for great customer service and this place is out-of-the-way for me, but we aren't visiting this location anymore, which means we are stuck with Moe's a friendlier but not as tasty treat. I've been wanting to dine here for a few weeks since I visited Taco Bell across the street.. so I went.. First and foremost DON'T enter the parking area from the Walmart side the parking area has two big pit holes that your car and tie rods will hate .. and if you are on a bike they are deep enough to flip you ..so bikers and if you have a low car 🚗 or just love your car beware ( property owner shame on you !! These created are dangerous!! SHAME) Now down to business I was greeted by the staff and served by a very pleasant Nita who explained the menu items I asked about .. I ordered and asked about my choice of meat and toppings.. the portions were very nice and the service great. I love the smokey taste of the chicken.. my drink was full flavor and on point. The restroom was very clean as was the dining area.. the only downside was the chips .. after you knock off the big guys I hate the bottom of a bag bits and pieces (the chips didn't seem to be made in house) 😔😔 My dining here was a great experience.
