Chapman's BBQ — Restaurant in Monticello

We absolutely love Chapman's BBQ! We have only ever done carry out from there but have never been disappointed. From their brisket to their sides (the butter, garlic roasted potatoes... delicious) can't be beat! I especially love that they post their menu daily on their Facebook page and keep you up-to-date on when they are sold out. We even called in for a special order when they were very busy with catering orders and they worked us in. It meant a lot to us! They are great, hard working people. We have been here a few times now. I would rate it 3.5 stars now instead of the 5 I gave them a couple of months ago. We got 4 pulled pork sandwiches tonight and 1 had a long dark hair in it. I understand it happens at times, but i couldn't stomach the rest of the sandwich after. $8 in the garbage. Their meat has been great every time, but the sides lack imo. We ordered brisket, pulled pork, and sausage for our dinner for 20 people. Since we were serving on Christmas, we had to pick up a few days early and reheat. The reheat instructions given by Amanda were wonderful and all the meat was so delicious and moist. Even guests who were experienced smokers of meat raved about Chapman’s. They made ordering easy, price’s reasonable, and the food delicious. I could not ask for more. We eat in at times as well. The eat in area is cute...
