I was shorted a cheese curd through the drive through a couple weeks ago. I called that night and explained that I was shorted an item, and that I had my kids in the house already and was not willing to return that night. The manager suggested that she add my name to a list and when I came back at some point to inform the cashier that I was on the list and wished to redeem my item. Well, I was in tonight and ordered $40 worth of dinner for my family as I do on a nearly weekly basis. I informed the cashier that my name was on a list and that I was owed a large cheese curd. She went to confer with her manager, in which resulted in the manager saying I was not on the list and would not be receiving my owed cheese curd. I should have walked out right away but my kids were expecting Culver’s and it was getting late. I was extremely embarrassed and to be honest insulted and upset. Like I have nothing better to do than spend $40 on dinner but take the time and effort to hustle a free item. I will never return to that store. What pitiful customer service. Insult, embarrass and upset the customer over a $5 item. What the cashier and manager clearly did not know is that we spend 2 to 3 thousand dollars there a year, and have for several years past as it is right down the street from my home. Great customer service and business practice, right. Just wow. A $5 item that they legitimately owed my family is worth losing a loyal customer that spends a good amount of money there if you include meals and ice cream stops. How disgusting on their part. Just disgusting to treat...
Read moreThis particular Culver's is a couple hundred miles away from home for me, but I got similar service I would expect in my home state. I'm glad to see the service is similar in all 3 states I have visited a Culver's.
The food came fast considering how busy the restaurant was when we visited. It was all fresh and exactly as ordered.
My only real complaint is with the chain rather than this particular restaurant.
They've been unable to provide their buffalo chicken tenders for months. That's just the way the world works now though, so it is fine.
The chain has also discontinued their sweet & sour sauce. Coincidentally, buffalo tenders with sweet & sour is really the only thing that made me personally gravitate towards the chain at all. All of the food is good still, but it doesn't stand out to me. The addition of Frank's Redhot Buffalo sauce is a big win, but I have that at home and do not crave anything else they have to offer. I will still eat here, but it will not be my idea until their buffalo strips return. I know it sounds crazy, but you wouldn't believe how much your opinion of a restaurant can hinge on an...
Read moreI’ll start off by saying we go to this Culver’s quite often. Once a week is usual. There have been a few times where the service was rather bad, but I shrugged it off as I enjoy Culver’s food most of the time. However, this time it was just so bad I can’t help but leave a bad review after being repeat customers for several months. There was an incredible line that had accumulated in the drive through, not because it was a busy meal time (it was 8pm) but because there were simply no orders coming out. Yet everyone sitting in their car waiting for cold food and melted ice cream could see the employees inside horsing around and doing anything but tending to the orders. We waited 25 minutes for ice cream that wasn’t made right and mostly melted. Recently, this Culver’s has been increasingly more difficult to deal with. There’s an obvious lack of necessary supervision for a large portion of the staff. We’ve been cooking at home a lot more the last few months and I’m going to let this latest experience serve as the catalyst to end our relationship...
