We ate there 5 times from late 2012 through mid-2013 for our family member birthday. Last year our final visit in December 2013, two of our family members got very sick with the food. My brother-in-law was throwing up all night. Two of the fried chicken (thigh) were way undercooked, and we literarily swallow a chunk of raw chicken. The red blood was underneath the chicken on the plate. We left the restaurant without complaining that night because we didn't want to make a scene right before the X-mas. Later I spoke with the manager on the phone and she said the owner would have contact us, but he've never returned my phone call. Finally in January 2014 I wrote a letter with follow-up call. The manager said the owner would forward this issue to the corporate office. However, I've never received any phone call nor letter......even for any apology from neither the restaurant nor the corporate officwe!!! I had similar issue (like bones in the burger) with a couple other restaurants in Twin Cities. All of them took care within a week. As of today, Pizza Ranch Monticello is running...
Read moreThere food is good, I've eaten before there. But, the other day I was on my motorcycle and a driver from there in their SUV was about 10 feet from my back. Now, I asked that driver what would happen if he were to be hit in the rear!!?? His answer, "I'd get in an accident"! So, I further brought the question more like you'd get hit, then I'd get hit and then go out into on coming traffic. Well, he still really didn't get it. I told him I'd sue him for life. I can Not believe these young kids and how they drive. He's not the only one. So, I just had to go back to his job, which is here. Why do people in general have to get so close to motorcycles or vehicles at that??!!? It's not fun being hit in the rear with a motorcycle from behind with a vehicle!! I should be able to keep my things all great as everyone else and Not be hit because of irresponsible people who don't care about others. The manager on duty sure knew who I was talking about. I described him to a T. BEWARE, people driving in company vehicles...
Read moreOh the Pizza Ranch reminds me very much of home. As a boy I was goat rancher in Penjab, India. Many long days spent with the goats. Bathing the goats. Milking the goats. Sleeping with the goats. I loved the goats. One day when I was the age of 11 my baba told me we can no longer keep the goats. Many financial problems due to his mahjong gambling debts. We slaughtered the goats and sold the meat. I had much sadness then. My baba's gambling debts got worse and we were able to only have one meal a day. A meal of green olives and masoor (red lentils). Today I am a traveling carpet sailesman and was in the great town of montecello. I saw the sign for a ranch of pizza and thought back to my goats. I stopped in and was trilled to see many foods on a table. I asked the workers if there was any halal meat and the told me we only have pizza. But then I saw them, the green olives that I love so very much. I had 4 plates of green olives and for desert had 3 plates more. How very good it feels...
